My son and his girlfriend could polish something like that off every morning, and generally do. They have hearty appetites.
( if I ate something like that, I would feel I had a brick in my stomach for about 8 hours. I am not a breakfast person.)

A lovely treat for you both though.

Lovely. That was the start of my day for many years but I don't burn enough energy off to do it now. I have it for an occasional treat and then a very small tea!
Yesterday I cooked veggies and had steak pudding and veggies X two for breakfast and tea.

( I crumb my own of course, Trippy...don’t trust this already crumbed stuff, or crap that you chuck in the oven).

I quite agree - I usually dip them in egg, before crumbing, but I'm down to my last one, and Morrisons don't come till tonight so I didn't. The crumbs are from a box which has been at the back of the cupboard for years. Sprinkled the chicken with some ground cardamon, and ginger. Can't say I really noticed that in the taste. Might try curry powder next time. No garlic- of course.

My son’s girlfriend crumbs her Chicken Schnitzels in Sage and Onion Stuffing Mix ( no crumbs added). I find it a bit overwhelming, so I have tried a mixture of Panko Crumbs and a dash of the Sage and Onion Stuffing Mix. That is ok, though hubby doesn’t like Sage and Onion Stuffing at all. He has asked me not to do it that way again. :extrawink:

I realise I am straying into Maz territory here but I found this yesterday as I was cooking some extension veggies.

I had veggies with mince and sausage for both breakfast and tea. As I say, the veggies have been extended.
