Yesterday afternoon was laced with frequent cold showers. As we went into night the rain stopped and the brisk wind became milder. At the moment we have heavy overcast but it's dry and the breeze is mild. The glass is on 1007mb and tending to rise. The forecast is for the overcast to break with the dawn and we will have a sunny mild dry day. The constant SSW wind is brisk and gusts to over 30mph. We can expect a high of 15C and a low tonight of 3C. The wind chill will be -3C or slightly more all day. The outlook is for 17C and full sun tomorrow and then dry warm weather with a lot of sun for the rest of the week.

Yesterday was slightly less sunny but still a very acceptable day. The afternoon was bright overcast but calm. We have had a quiet dry night and first thing this morning it's calm, dry and we have a very slight mist. The glass has fallen a bit to 1018mb and the forecast is for a clear day with full sun. The mainly WSW winds will be light and we can expect a high of 15C and a low tonight of 1C with an almost negligible wind chill. The outlook is continuing bright and mild but gradually cooling and perhaps more chance of a shower.

Yesterday was a slight deterioration of the day before but still a very acceptable afternoon and evening. We have had a calm dry night and this morning we have a clear sky, very light wind and it isn't frosty.... The glass has fallen again slightly to 1014mb. The forecast is for a bright, dry overcast day. The mainly SW winds will be light and we can expect a high of 11C and a low tonight of -1C with a wind chill of -2C all day. The next six days will gradually get cooler and Tuesday looks like a very wet day. Even so, this is still very acceptable weather!

Yesterday was another very acceptable day but noticeably cooler. We have had a quiet clear night and at the moment we have a clear sky, a very light wind and no frost as yet. The glass has risen slightly to 1017mb and the forecast is for a dry day with a clear sunny start but deteriorating to bright overcast before midday. The westerly winds start very light but by noon have settled in the SW and risen slightly. We can expect a high of 11C and a low of 7C tonight with a constant wind chill all day of -2C. Tomorrow will be mild, heavily overcast and wet. After that the weather is brighter but colder and slightly more mixed, there's even a chance of a snow shower on Wednesday.

Yesterday's forecast was accurate, we gradually lost the sun and had an afternoon of bright overcast leading into a night of clear skies until after midnight. At the moment we have a breeze and it's overcast but still dry. The glass is down slightly on 1010mb and tending to keep falling. The forecast is for an overcast windy day with rain. The constant SW winds will be brisk and gust to almost 40mph. We can expect a high of 11C and a low of 2C tonight with a wind chill of -5C for much of the day. The outlook is for brighter but colder weather on the whole. Any elevated temperatures will be under overcast skies....
Later just after 02:00. It started raining, significant rain.

Yesterday it rained all day and it was still raining until midnight. At the moment it's dry under broken overcast with a gusty cold wind. The glass has fallen sharply and is now on 995mb and tending to rise. The forecast is for a day of broken cloud and wintry showers starting at dawn, later there could be sunny intervals. The constant WNW wind will gust to 45mph and we can expect a high of 6C and a low of -2C tonight with a wind chill of -6C for most of the day. The consequence of this is that the perceived temperature will be freezing or below all day. The outlook is for similar weather but perhaps slightly warmer.

It got very wild up here yesterday evening, wind and torrential rain lashing against the house. The noise was quite frightening 🫣 I was surprised to wake up this morning and find that everything was as it should be! Snow showers followed by sunshine at the moment.

The mainly WNW winds will be light to moderate We can expect a high of 7C and a low of 4C tonight with a wind chill that could be as high as -6C this morning but easing later.
