I'm having the steak pudding that I was going to have yesterday. Change of plan then after Sally visited the Coop and found a spaghetti carbonara much reduced in price as it was on last day date which was fine with me and very tasty. :extrawink:

Mutton and Veggies for breakfast and tea and I have cooked steak and chicken wings with tomatoes and the usual condiments. That will go nicely with veggies for a couple of days.

I'm glad I don't crave difference in each meal. It must be something to do with being brought up under strict rationing. You had no choice, you ate what was put in front of you and soon learned the lesson. :biggrin2:

Gumbo, or Cajun Fish Stew, whatever you want to call it.
Onion, green pepper, celery, carrot and chopped tomato base. Garlic, fresh chillies, paprika, cumin, oregano, freshly ground black pepper, a bit of salt and a splash of balsamic vinegar. A chorizo sausage on top and all into the pressure cooker for 25 minutes. While that was hissing away I fried off some more onions, red pepper and fine green beans. Once the pressure cooker had done its thing I retrieved the chorizo and liquidized the rest and put it back on the hob, added a frozen fish (pie) mix and simmered for 15 mins. In with the fried onions, peppers and beans, the chopped chorizo and a pack of mixed shellfish, made sure it was all nice and hot and finished it off with a handful of chopped coriander. It went down very well even if I say so myself.

The gin, light cranberry juice and sugar free tonic water aperitif, ice, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries made it look pretty (tasted nice too) :biggrin2:

I chopped up a chicken breast, fried it with onions and tomatoes, didn't have any peppers so I chucked some frozen petit pois in and some fajita spice. Had half in a spiced wrap for my tea and have a portion left for lunch today.

Diced Lamb to go in the slow cooker for tea and we have some new potatoes from the front garden.

Spooky ! - so did I. In fact it has become a regular menu item over the last couple of years, with my trusty Wok, a dash of Linghams Chilli sauce, some finely chopped root ginger. and soya sauce. You can get quite adventurous, and I havent had any failures yet. Sometimes I add a shake of currry powder and some cardamon pods. I've used chopped cooked sausage, and even bacon as the meat element, and a handfull of shredded cabbage and cooked (noodles) spaghetti does no harm.
