It's been identified as Escherichia coli, the most common UTI. It's just being stubborn with my compromised immune system.

Independent via MSN Pharmacies fear underfunding will lead to closure
"the end is coming slowly and all at once, and that starts in April. People will see pharmacies close, and access to medicines and health advice will diminish.” (as real term funding falls)
To scaremongering or will queuing get longer or on line cheaper alternates fill the gap.

I was wondering if you were taking a flozin. It causes glucose to be flushed out in your pee making you more prone to infections. It might be worth discussing that with the doctor when you see one.

Currently in Burnley General, there were 'developments' during the night. Let's just say I'm waiting to be 'drained'.

Apart from the "draining" which became a twice daily event for Col, some intravenous ABs might help to sort your infection, that was the only thing that helped him when he had all the issues following his bladder cancer.

Kev, Best wishes from me too. I nearly recommended 999 last night, but assumed you would do so if necessary.
As usual Wendyf knows more than anyone on almost everything. A very wise woman.

New Covid HKU5-CoV-2 strain detected by same Chinese laboratory at centre of 2020 outbreak
Researchers collected the HKU5-CoV-2 strain from a small subset of hundreds of Pipistrellus bats swabbed across China’s Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang, Anhui, and Guangxi provinces.
Their analysis revealed that it belongs to a distinct lineage of coronaviruses that includes the one causing Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) and is only distantly related to SARS-CoV-2, the strain of coronavirus that caused the Covid-19 pandemic. Lab experiments suggest that HKU5-CoV-2 may also infect a broad variety of mammals, which officials say mean it has potential for cross-species transmission. The research was led by virologist Shi Zheng-Li, known for her work on bat viruses, and her facility,
According to the study, which was published in the peer-reviewed journal Cell, the virus can also attach to ACE2 receptors in other mammalian species, increasing the possibility of cross-species transmission. ( answer , yes )
Is this actually necessary to go looking for viruses ( shares in vaccine companies went up), but interesting it is more like MERS than COVID as such, but are the differences significant and would existing Covid vaccines be good enough ?
