Peter Sallis. (LINK) I always enjoyed his appearances whatever they were. Cleggy in Last of the Summer Wine and the voice of Wallace in Wallace and Gromit. Lovely Northern accent.......

Once death occurs, suffering is for those left behind. Charlies parents and others who loved him will have to work their way through an anger phase as part of their grieving, I hope the right help is available to them without the media trying to get yet another piece of them.

I have always believed that there is a time to stop fighting the inevitable, let go and direct all your energy to supporting the patient and those around you who are also affected and perhaps haven't had your life experience. That applies to my death as well, I have been preparing my kids for years.....

See THIS for a BBC report of the death of Robert Hardy aged 91. I'm re-watching All Creatures Great and Small on TV at the moment. I always enjoyed his work.
