The last of the chicken and veggies X three. I shall take a view on veggie cooking later today after I've been to the Co-op.

Yesterday I had black pudding, fried tomatoes and fried eggs for breakfast. I cooked veggies during the day and had a light lunch of freshly boiled sprouts... lovely! Tea was two Sea Bass fillets with veggies.

Scotch Egg and veggies for breakfast. I roasted my chicken and had a pick at it for a light lunch, beautiful warm out of the oven! Then straight veggies for tea.

I just opened a fresh bag of Eleohant Atta Chapatti flour

I say fresh but actually it was the oldest, and marked 'best before June 2021'. It's fine. I've got three more in the waiting room
(don't ask) - and on a mad impulse I added a handful of Atora suet to the mix. I do believe it has improved the job.

PS I threw a couple of pieces of dough into the Halogen Oven for ten minutes or so and the result was a couple of rolls which look good.

Pork shoulder steaks, leeks, green beans, mashed carrot and swede and some gravy. Nice bit of tea for a Monday.

David, I like your style.... Sell by dates on dry goods like flour are for the birds. Without looking I'd guess the 'best before date' on my dried marrowfat peas is about 2012. They are no worse for it.
Yesterday I had chicken and veggies X three.
In that veggie mix are roast onions and peppers (Cooked with the chicken), carrots, parsnips, leeks, celery, cabbage, sprouts, Broccoli and cauliflower.

The last of the chicken and veggies into three meals, two of them for yesterday and one left over for breakfast this morning. My light lunch yesterday was two spicy veggie samosas from Chaudrey's, I don't know who makes them but they are good!

Toasted pulled beef and horseradish sandwich (wholemeal bread). I know I shouldn't but it was delicious.
This helped wash it down

I don’t often read this thread as usually at this time we are busy doing whatever we do at this time. Today we stopped early to go and see Roland and then Whats App Briony for her birthday.

So we are sat here with time on our hands or to be strictly correct a handful of Tyrell crisps in one hand and a home made rhubarb gin in the other. Between hands full of crisps I am surfing one guy, and reading what did we have for tea. Well tonight it is pizza made in the pizza oven in the summer and surplus to our needs that night. Yesterday was a yummy chicken in red wine casserole, found on a google search and made by my own fair hands whilst the paint in the new room dried. Accompanied by sautéed diced potatoes and cauliflower cheese. The latter was made from cauliflower that was half the price that it was in the summer. Tomorrow I will be concocting out of whatever is left in the fridge
If you keep searching you will find it

I have a photo somewhere of you on a jolly on a train somewhere, tucking into a very tasy looking 'full English' . I think of it when I read of your current cuisine. Of course I can't find it. :laugh5:

Could this be it? First class dining on the Fellsman steam excursion over the Settle and Carlisle. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Yesterday I finished the chicken and veggies. Today will be veggie cooking!

Dinner was good as well! Susan was a happy woman.
Yesterday I had sausage egg and baked beans for breakfast, nibbled on the veggies I was cooking for a light lunch and Mick and Mo came at teatime bearing fish and chips....
