The very last of the chicken and veggies for breakfast. Then a big veggie cook-in and two Sea Bream fillets with fresh veggies for tea. Expensive but very healthy!

Beef burger, fried eggs and fried tomatoes topped up with fresh veggies X two for breakfast and tea. At lunchtime I had a pick on a couple of hot and spicy chicken legs.

Chicken and veggies X 3. Nearly had a disaster with my chicken. I got some new curry powder which I use for spicing up my chicken roast. I used the normal amount and it was far too hot! Fortunately the chillies were concentrated in the gravy so with a heavy heart I dumped it. I shall know better this week! (The rest of the meat is fine....)

Aperitif of white wine and saucisson sec (from France , now nearly finished ) and gherkins on toast. Roast lamb, roast potatoes and parsnips, broccoli spears, sprouts, mint sauce. Followed by baked apple and evaporated milk. We are nearly at the end of our cooking apples, grown here. A couple of glasses of red wine and a coffee. I love Sunday evening meal

A meal in itself.

Almost the end of the chicken and veggies X three. In terms of flavour it's at it's peak. Wonderful how well cooked food can improve with storage!

For anyone fed up with chicken - I note that Tesco have reduced lamb (legs and half legs from NZ) by 50% - if you use your Clubcard. This makes it just expensive rather than ridiculously expensive. From £14 per kilo to £7. I shall return to get a couple of pieces for the freezer.

I have half a wether in the freezer David from my local man Stuart Brown, I can't say exactly because I just shove notes in his hand but cheaper than Tesco's lamb.
I had enough of last week's chicken and veg to do breakfast and tea. Lunch was fresh cooked veggies after cooking some of what I bought in a light veggie shop at Chaudrey's. My chicken is ordered for today and will be roasted tomorrow morning!

Am I right Kev in remembering that that place was originally a filling station?
I had blood pudding and veggies for Breakfast and straight veggies nibbled while cooking for lunch and for tea.
A bit of veggie cooking left and my chicken to roast. I shall survive!

Chicken and veggies for breakfast and tea. Dinner was slightly indulgent. I got a cheese and onion pie during a walk round the Winter Market in Town Square and had that with veggies and gravy.

I have some diced lamb in the slow cooker not sure how I will have a portion yet.
Our Jack is a bit crook at the moment and off work with some kind of proper nasty cold type affliction. He has reported in with a request for pea and ham soup of which we have naught at the moment. I am currently thawing some of my last batch of chicken soup for the lad.

We've eaten there a few times, it's a nice leisurely walk from here. The Sunday roast is very good.
