The last of this weeks chicken and veggies just lasted me out. I grilled some sausages to tide me over to this weeks cook in which will be today.

Sausage, fried eggs and baked beans for breakfast. Straight fresh cooked veggies for lunch and a reduced price (but still expensive!) pizza from the Co-op for tea.

Yes, you've guessed it. I extended it a bit by frying some sweet potato chips. I know that they are high carb but we have to have some substance in the veggies or else I would get fed up with them!

Another extension, boiling a swede. Then chicken and veggies X three as usual.
Light veggie shopping later today, it's that time of the week again!

Almost the last of the Chicken and veggies. Only one helping left and today is veggie cooking day. I do like ending the week on Friday morning with an empty fridge!

Invite from sister in law for tea, a welcome surprise as I've been plumbing for most of the day. No idea what we're eating but it's usually good.

Breakfast yesterday was forbidden fruit, I had a flat cake with three fried eggs on it. (I know, but the urge for bread was irresistible.) Dinner was a small helping of the veggies I was cooking and tea was the last of last week's chicken and veggies. The butcher delivered yesterday evening and so I shall be roasting my chicken this morning.

This morning is Four Hour chicken roasting and cooking the last cabbage. :biggrin2:
(Then I can forget cooking for a week!)

Thanks Mick! I fill three Sistema pots in the morning and each gets 4 mins on high in the mwave to come out piping hot. So that's 4 mins cooking and 1 min to wash up afterwards. I always end up with an empty fridge on Thursday night. As Kev commented in the Air Frying topic, not fine dining but honest fresh natural ingredients hygienically prepared and cooked and as my blood analysis shows, a very healthy diet. (It's economical as well..... :biggrin2: )
Needless to say, chicken and veggies X three yesterday.
