Wendy. My wife mentioned it whilst on the PC last night. Not sure where she read it from. I'm going to remove it as I've checked and no other reports. Nolic

My wife told me last night whilst she was on the PC, not sure which site she saw it on. I similarly cannot find any reports. Can you please remove it until I know for certain. Thanks, Nolic

Shall I leave it? Strange that it hasn't made the national news if she died on Sunday.

Still nothing on the internet but some asking if she has died, all replies and reports say no. Looks like the paper has it wrong.

BBC have said that she's dead now.

Funny thing is that neither the news report nor the obituary mention a date of death..... Looks as though Wendy's original report was correct but for some reason the family delayed officially announcing it.

It was Nolic who came across the early report not me. The BBC report does say that she died on Monday night.

Tony Booth – actor, Cherie’s dad and Alf Garnett’s ‘scouse git’. 85 years old, not a bad innings.

Plus, The Fourmost member Billy Hatton died suddenly aged 77 at his sheltered housing in Dingle, Liverpool 8. At the heart of the Merseybeat scene and hung out with The Beatles – he actually did have stories and tales to to tell. He famously punched John Lennon at Paul McCartney’s 21st birthday as in his view, Lennon was coming on unreasonably with a girl. Paul McCartney played him ‘Hey Jude’ moments after he’d written it to get his opinion – ‘a pile of sh**ite’ was his response which in later years he recounted as evidence for his judgment being variable.

Did a lot of work at LIPA, the Peforming Arts Institute in Liverpool, with budding musicians.

Hugh Hefner. Aged 91years.

Apparently he paid $2 million to be buried next to Marilyn Monroe, who he never met.

I know where that is, her ashes are in a small marble cupboard in a mausoleum at Rose Hills Cemetery in LA. Susi took me to see it one day. The American Way of Death......

I'm surprised I haven't seen this in the main media. This is from Robin Page's occasional blog.

I hadn't noticed it either. I loved his work. Anyone who associated elephants with steam locos is in my club. We have lost a good man.....

I'm feeling that I'm the only person in the country who had never heard of this chap. I assumed he was a local resident! I've got an audio tape somewhere of the Travelling Wilburys, and knew Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison were in it - but not Tom Petty. R.I.P.

Died: 24 November 2016. Tripps You must keep abreast of things if you are going to keep on posting obituaries. Next you'll be tell us that Norma Jeane Mortenson has died?

Yes I do intend to continue to post obituaries, and anything else that catches my attention.

The clue was in the words 'has been revealed', and it seems I was more 'abreast' of things than the Daily Mail who did a feature on the situation today. Perhaps they saw the news on here.
