No choice here.... The ferocity of the spices was set when I made the dressing for the chicken before it was roasted. :biggrin2:
Yesterday I had chicken and veggies X three for breakfast, dinner and tea.

Mine was just about right with the medium. Jacks extra hot was ordered as an aid to help staving off a cold that he is developing, that's the plan anyway. :extrawink:

Went to Fabello's (The Wharf at Foulridge) for the 5pm happy hour. Excellent food and atmosphere, the house red, a merlot, is well worth drinking. Peroni, olives, bread, 2 delicious pizzas, the bottle of merlot and a tiramisu to finish. All bad for me but it was lovely :good:

I had chicken, sausage and veggies.
(I grilled some sausage to raise the protein level. I shall roast the chicken this morning.)

I had to look it up Kev..... chicken and spinach eh? From the amount of greens I cooked yesterday you could almost say my chicken and veggies qualified as a saag....
I had the very last helping of last week's chicken and veggies for breakfast. Didn't really have any dinner, just nibbled on the veggies I was cooking but then had full chicken and veggies from the new stock for tea.

Went out last night to Jac's on Frank Street. A couple of beers and a meat and three cheese board plus a second three cheese board to give a choice of six, crackers, bread, butter, olives and other nibbles included of course. Part our anniversary and also our last cancer support night of the year so we had the company of one regular attendee. A nice couple of hours chatting in a different environment.

The chicken and veggies is on song and so easy to deal with. A nourishing hot meal for 4 minutes in the microwave on high. So I get three small hot meals a day with minimum effort. :biggrin2:

Chicken and veggies X three.
I cooked my mince making a very good savoury mince with lots of garlic, onions and spices. This will be used with the end of the veggies.

I had two helpings left from last week and had them for breakfast and dinner. At teatime I had a treat, freshly cooked chicken and veggies. Lovely!

Mention was made recently of the price (£1.70) of Heinz Baked beans -the ones that are adverised all the time, and everywhere.

I've just tested Tesco Stockwell Beans (Aldi price match ) priced at 28pence, and would say they were quite acceptable.

I am still using my Brexit stock of baked beans bought when a 4 can pack cost £1. When they are done I shall be blagging a lift to our local Aldi and filling my boots.
If you'll forgive the expression, Heinz have gone off their trolley with that price.
I had chicken and veggies X three. We have a new batch.....

I had chicken and veggies for breakfast and tea. Dinner was a departure for me, a 'Festive Panini' from Mandy's Barlic Bites eaten as I sat on the bench at the end of Albert Road. It won't be a regular treat, too expensive at £3-80 a throw and too many carbs for my system but an occasional kick over the traces doesn't seem to do me much harm.....

I like panini - addiction might be a bit strong, but I'd find it hard to give them up.

They cost a basic 30p each and the addition of (say) bacon, mushroom omelette, thinly sliced quick fried chorizo and baked beans, (patent pending), make a quick cheap breakfast.

On second thoughts -I think addiction might be the right word.

Problem is the bread David. My system reacts immediately to it and whilst I love it I have to be very careful. A salad butty on a white teacake once a week seems to be my limit.....
I had chicken and veggies X three for breakfast, dinner and tea and fried my sweet potato chips as a bonus!
