I think I will be sticking to my old outdated technology David after my spend on the Telly! My electric hob, oven and the back up of the Microwave and the slow cooker is the line-up.
I had chicken and veggies X three for breakfast dinner and tea. I shall be veggie shopping in the Town Square today rain or shine as tomorrow is far too busy with chiropodists and TV installers!

I had almost the last of last week's veggies. I augmented four half helpings with tinned peas and wings from the chicken I roasted yesterday. Three of them were for Breakfast dinner and tea. The one remaining helping is for breakfast this morning and I will be cooking veggies later....

Well - first attempt at a home made lasagne in the "new" Russell Hobbs mini oven, has turned out OK. All times and temperatures guessed, but it was good with some salad.

Glad it worked for you David.....
I had the very last of last weeks cooking for breakfast, no dinner really, just a couple of nibbles on veggies as I cooked them but then a proper chicken and veggies for tea from the new cooking.

We had wholemeal pasta, (spaghetti), with a sauce made from roasted home grown tomato, garlic and onion, then half a carton of Passata and some oven roasted streaky bacon chopped up and mixed in. Topped off with Parmesan cheese. Very tasty.

Thanks for the advice- though comparison with the Air Fryer isn't a big help. I've really only used that for French fries and chicken legs. I'm making a note of times and temps, and it helps that you can keep an eye on it during cooking.
I think it's a winner. I'm an intuitive cook, never use a recipe, just bash on - and the client is very forgiving.

Describes my style of cooking exactly David! Thank you.
I had straight veggies for breakfast and tea yesterday. Dinner was catered for by Fish chips and peas with Mo and my two great grandchildren from Clitheroe. The kids were a delight, so well behaved and so good with using their knives and forks. Several older ladies sat next to us in the chip shop said they wanted to take them home!
(The fish chips and peas was good but I did note that the fish was very small. I didn't enquire into the price as every other chip shop in Barlick has closed so they tell me. They will do what they have to do to survive.)

Tea with eldest offspring and associated family, lamb stew is on the menu. I'm providing a selection of cheeses and a bottle of port for pudding :good:
It's his 40th birthday today, not only am I going to be a great grandad but I have a middle aged child. How did that happen? :biggrin2:

Your eyes don't deceive you Kev, I marinaded it in Lea and Perrins and Pakistani Bassar and it is excellent.
I had chicken sausage and veggies for breakfast and a nibble of the trimmings from the pork belly for dinner. Those few pieces filled me so well all I had for tea was a small helping of cabbage and cauliflower.
Pork belly is so under-rated and remarkably little fat in a good sample.
