I had the last two helpings of last week's veggies for breakfast and tea. I didn't have anything for dinner, I was cooking veggies and I never feel like eating when I am cooking. Not even a nibble!
I had my belly pork cooking in the slow cooker. I froze the gravy to strip the fat out of it and at the end of the day distributed the cooked pork amongst the pans in the fridge and did my washing up.
I deserve a rest today...... :biggrin2:

Nicely settled in to this week's batch.
I was wondering yesterday how many people manage to keep as far away from processed foods as I do? To my mind it's essential and so far the theory is working.....

Pork belly strips, marinated in sea salt and chilli and cooked in the air fryer. Salad on the side, could be called Greek as it had olives and feta in it with a French dressing. Washed it down with a bottle of Chardonnay, we're not usually Chardonnay drinkers but it was very good 👍

It was a very good, well attended, show. Had a couple of beers in the bar afterwards, we had an hour to kill before our bus was due.

Roast chicken, roast poatoes, peas, corn, cauliflower and brocolli with cheese sauce (Katies request and her favourite - it was her birthday so she got to choose what we ate) with gravy cooked by moi for 7 adults and 2 children.

Guess whats left...............just a bit of chicken (I did roast 2 x very large chickens).

Well, as you know, I am a big fan of chicken and veggies Margaret. I spent the day cooking and have my chicken and veggies ready for this week. Yesterday I had two helpings of last week's meat and veggies left so I had one for breakfast and one for tea. Nothing for dinner, couldn't be arsed working in that heat.....

The pork belly has cooked slowly overnight and the gravy is in the freezer to separate the fat out.
