I had new batch chicken and veggies for breakfast and tea. I missed dinner because I was up to my oxsters in TalkTalk and they stole any appetite I might have had for food. So good in a way.... helps keep my weight down! (Always look on the bright side!)

I'm enjoying three hot meals a day of meat and veggies.
I did a quick fag packet reckon-up of costs and I am somewhere near £2.50 a meal..,.. Not bad for today's prices...

Three helpings of meat and veggies and I did the heavy veggie shopping in Town Square. I just need a couple of the lighter items from the Co-op and veggie cooking looks like Tuesday at the moment. I shall know better when I have set out today's meals and can see what is left.....

The very last helping from the last batch for breakfast. No dinner as I was too busy cooking and chicken and fresh cooked veggies for tea. Glad the cooking is out of the way for a week!

Cook and Thornton's Mick at no 27, the firm used to be next door at 29. I worked there from 16 years old for 20 years. Moved on into computer repair and network installation when stuff became too reliable and there was nothing left to repair. I always say it was when they started riveting toasters together and sent out single sheet "service manuals" for video recorders which by then were all full of nylon gears! Three engineers at the time all waiting for the phone to ring.

Both properties now knocked together for the restaurant.
