Meat and veggies X three. I am getting last week's cooking into a corner and need to think about cooking!
It comes round so quickly!

Last week's cooking will see me through today but I need to cook veggies.

I cooked yesterday but was still on last weeks cooking for my meals. I missed dinner, as often happens when I'm cooking, no appetite for food! I still have two helpings of the old batch for today.

I had the end of last week's cooking for breakfast and dinner with tea coming out of the new batch. Every week is subtly different because of the availability of vegetables, this week's is significantly greener. :biggrin2:

Three hot meals as usual.
I was watching one of my favourite YouTube videos and realised that the man, who appears to live on his own, eats only either ready meals ordered on the web and delivered in bulk to his door or in Cafés. I can't even imagine living like that......

You guessed it! Meat and veggies X three.
Seeing as how we are in for a wet morning I might improve the shining hour by cooking an extender pan of savoury rice.....

Yup, I cooked savoury rice and added it to this weeks veggies. Extender cooking is the cheapest source of good nourishment! :biggrin2:

Three hot meals of meat and veggies while I watched the rain. Didn't feel at all guilty because I hadn't had a walk.....

Sausage and black pudding bun, with real butter, for lunch here at Chez Kev. I started with four in the bun but one kept falling out :biggrin2:

Looks good enough to eat Kev. I have had to abandon buns entirely lately and have benefited from doing so.
I had veggies X three yesterday. I seemed to be missing the pans with the meat in! I hate to say it but straight vegetarian seems to be good for me.....
I shall put that treacherous thought out of my head!

Chickpea snacks, cooked in the air fryer :good:
IMG_20241022_131027~2.jpg
Very easy to do, drain a can of chickpeas and put in a single layer in your air fryer, 200c for 2 mins.
Give them a shake and sprinkle with a bit of oil.
200c for 5 mins, give them a shake.
200c for 5 mins, give them a shake.
Sprinkle on a seasoning of choice, I used piri piri salt.
200c for 5 mins and spread out on kitchen paper to cool.

You can't beat cooking in industrial quantities Kev!
I had another vegetarian day, Veggies X three for breakfast dinner and tea.

Veggies X three again.
It's worth mentioning that because there are four pans to go at in the fridge, and different mixes of veggies in each, no two meals are the same, they all vary slightly and that perhaps explains why I never tire of them.

I'm getting the veggies into a corner now and finished veggie shopping for the next cook-in yesterday. My pork belly is cooked and the chicken will be roasted this morning. Veggie cooking tomorrow!

Breakfast was the very last helping of last week's cooking. Dinner and tea were this week's veggies with pork belly.

The supermarkets are full of Christmas, fortunately this means Aldi are selling mini Panettones. We had half each with a cup of coffee :good:

I'm having chicken and veg for tea

Chicken, chorizo, peppers and courgettes in a tomato, onion, carrot and celery sauce served with wholemeal spaghetti and a sprinkling of grand padano. There may be wine or beer involved, not made my mind up yet.
