Apart from the pasta cheese and alcohol I had the same Kev..... X three for breakfast dinner and tea. I am so glad that sweet confections hold no attractions whatever for me.

I've just commented on a news item about the rise in malnutrition cases admitted to hospital in the NW.
No danger of that here! Three hot meals of meat and veggies as usual.

For a bit of diversity in the thread. We had had cheese and tomato loaded scrambled eggs on one of the part baked baguettes that we did in the Air Fryer.
Tea today will be home made pizza, we have all the usual wherewithal's for the toppings. I have made enough pizza dough for one each, so meat and veggie variants it will be. Just about to sweat down a couple of onions but using chilli oil which should give a bit of a lift. Dough is arguing with itself and will be just about right by tea time. Will use a semolina and flour mix for the underside when I roll the bases out to give a nice crispy base.

Thanks - that reminded me that I had an Aldi four cheese pizza. I added whatever extras I had lurking in the fridge and here is the result. Had half for tea - very nice.

"For a bit of diversity in the thread."
I don't blame you for thinking that but I have more diversity than you you think because I have four pans of cooked veggies in the fridge and there are different combinations of veggies each day. I am barred from a lot of easily achieved diversity by the fact that as I age my strictures against carbs has had to become even more strict. Add to that the fact that I don't want to be tied to cooking every day but still have three regular hot meals and you have where I am now. All I can say is that it seems to be working!

David, that pizza looks delicious..... I envy you.

It looks good as well!
I had the very last of last weeks cooking batch for breakfast and tea. I had no dinner, I was cooking and didn't remember to feel hungry....
They all used to tell me that the best meal you ever give your dog is the one you miss. I wonder if that applies to us as well?

Made use of some leftovers from the freezer, some Greek style chicken kebabs, some 'gravy' from a beef chilli and a packet of Mediterranean couscous. Very tasty

Yesterday I had chicken and veggies X three. Carl delivered my meat order at 17:30 and I deboned the pork belly right away and chopped the meat into bite size chunks. I added a can of chopped tomatoes, one large onion and a selection of spices and some raw apple cider vinegar. All put in the slow cooker to cook overnight. This morning I have lifted the gravy off and put it in the bottom of the freezer to separate the fat. It will figure in today's meals when I portion them out. (Good Storm Bert grub!)
