ON THE WRITE LINES: This is the title of the new book of the creative writing group of U3A Todmorden. I finished it yesterday and have sent for my draft copy. It will sell at £7.99and is available from Lulu.com. It has the same format as our last book EIGHT IN PRINT, which proved to be very successful. Are you stuck for a Christmas present for anyone?

It's arrived, I am happy. A friend is checking through it, an independent view.

Excellent. I am surprised they sent it before I had approved the draft copy

Hasn't got here yet, Monday almost certainly. Lulu don't seem to worry too much, an order is an order!

I was wrong, it had been delivered and was in the recycling bin. Sat down and read it, no problems in reading it right through at one sitting, very readable and an interesting mix of subjects, not all of them cheerfful but nonetheless riveting. Only found one typo, 'out' instead of 'our' at the top of page 19. Not a biggy, didn't spoil my enjoyment. An excellent effort and all members should buy one to support your afforts!

Thanks Stanley. My friend found one error, not worth a re draft then. May do it as I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to things like that. All those student handouts!!!

Pretty obvious wasn't it? Is it time to tighten up the requirements to register, and to make posts?
