Nowhere exotic, just to Next at Skipton to get some new Chino's. I quite like them as they have off the peg size that fit me perfectly. Choice of colour also in my size so I opted for a pair of Light Tan. I have both Light and a Darker Grey, one pair of which are getting a bit tired. Ready for our foray to the seaside now.

Cayton Bay for the week with the grandchildren. Big static caravan site which I think used to be the campsite field I stayed in 55 years ago when I was a lad. No idea when Parkdean developed into what it is now. Weather mixed but we managed a couple of days down on the beach which was a reasonably short 3/4 mile path down from the site. The route from the site to pick up the path even includes a pedestrian and cyclists underpass to get you to the other side of the coast road. Played lots of games with the kids on the rainy days. I have at last got my head around UNO and have actually won a couple of hands. :mexwave:

Came back today and made quite good time, two and three quarter hours which isn't bad round York and through Harrogate on a Saturday. Lots of washing to do now. Silsden grandchildren go home today, Carla has just arrived to pick them up.

Got back last Monday evening from 5 day trip to Drymen Loch Lomond. Went on the Falkirk Wheel, saw the Kelpies, saw the Burrell Museum, went to Summerlee Museum of Industrial Life, went on steam boat on Loch Katrina, and had afternoon tea on a steam train. All in all a good break, and didn’t get wet once, even though it rained all the way home.

I improved the shining hour this morning. I went for my walk and a sit on traffic duty and then came back and fried my sweet potato chips.

The Bridge Inn Hotel in Walshford for a Ruby Anniversary party, a very good do complete with 'indoor' barbecue. I took the photo studio and dressing up box, it went down very well for the two hours I took pics with lots of people being silly :biggrin2:

I'll try the far side of Clitheroe looking towards the big end of Pendle.

Sorry Plaques and Gloria, it’s not Clitheroe or Bowland Fell. I’ll give it to around midday (your time), to give Wendy and Ian a chance to try.
If no-one gets it I will reveal where it is. 😊

As soon as I had posted my Clitheroe guess I realised it was the wrong direction. We get some nice sunsets but most of the easterly directions are too flat to include any hills. So put me down as 'don't know'.

Thanks to all of you who tried 😊
Are you locals playing games with me 🤔

It’s Barnoldswick.

My daughter messaged me last week with these 2 pictures, saying “I’m staying at Alma Cliffe B & B, so right on the edge of Letcliffe Park.’

She wandered all thru Barnoldswick, and a bit beyond, with her video camera.

😊
