A little puzzle for all you painting buffs.
Who is the artist?
What is unusual about it?

I'm no painting buff, but something in the old grey cells told me it might be a Holbein and a quick google told me that it is The Ambassadors by Hans Holbein the Younger. The strange object in the foreground is an anamorphic skull A perspective trick which means that the skull can only be seen clearly when the painting is approached from the side.

A good game for learning your old masters is on the "Free Rice" website. I love the word game, but you can also earn a few grains of rice by guessing the artist...
