Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry and at 20:00 we had a clear sky and it was definitely chilly! We had a clear sky during the night and this morning it was the same, a very light breeze, clear sky and chilly, no doubt a frost but too dark to see as yet. The glass has risen to 1005mb and the forecast is for a bright sunny day. The constant ESE wind is light to moderate and gives us a high of 8C and a low of 4C tonight with a wind chill that at its peak will be -4C. The outlook is for similar dry milder weather all week.

Yesterday afternoon was full sun until dusk. By 20:00 we had a breeze and very light rain. First thing this morning it was overcast but dry with signs of a recent shower. It hasn't changed, it is still dry. The glass had fallen but is rising again and is on 1004mb. The forecast is for a dry, bright overcast day with plenty of sunny intervals. The wind today is light and variable but could be said to be mainly southerly. We will have a high of 9C and a low of 3C tonight with only a slight wind chill. The outlook is for similar weather, no surprises!

Yesterday afternoon was bright and dry. It was still like that at 20:00 and this morning first thing was calm and clear. It hasn't changed since. The glass has risen and is steady on 1016mb. The forecast is for an overcast but dry day. The constant ESE wind will be light and gives us a high of 9iC with a low of 4C tonight and a wind chill of perhaps -3C during the day. The outlook is for very similar quiet weather for the next week.

Yesterday afternoon we had a very light spatter of rain at one point but nothing wetting. At 20:00 we had a light breeze and overcast but it was dry. This morning it's the same, a noticeable cold wind and overcast but so far it's dry. The glass has fallen to 998mb and the forecast is for heavy rain this morning. The constant ENE wind is brisk and again gusts to over 30mph giving us a high of 6C and a low of 4C with a wind chill of -5C for most of the day. This will make it feel like freezing until after Noon. The outlook is for similar overcast but dry weather and it will be warmer. By Wednesday we shall be in double figures!

Yesterday afternoon was dry and it was still dry at 20:00, just a nagging east wind. This morning we have light rain and the same East wind. The glass fell slowly all day yesterday and this morning is down on 994mb. The forecast is for it to rain all day. The constant moderate ENE wind gusts to 30mph during the day and gives us a high of 7C and a low of 4C tonight with a constant -4C wind chill all day. The six day outlook is still for warmer dry weather, double figures from Wednesday onwards.....

Yesterday afternoon was gloomy and damp. At 20:00 it was still the same. First thing this morning it was overcast but dry and hasn't changed since. The glass is up on 1002mb and tending to rise. The forecast is for a dry but heavily overcast day. The constant ENE wind starts moderate but becomes light this afternoon. We can expect a high of 8C and a low of 5C tonight. The wind chill will be as much as -4C this morning but much less this afternoon. The outlook is for warmer weather into double figures for much of the week but more rain.

I have just got back from Veggie shopping in the Town Square. I decided it wasn't going to be any better than this tomorrow. I even had a sit at the end of Albert Road because though dull, it's not unpleasant out there. Back home for me dinner now and it's nice to sit down! The reason why it's OK is that there is less wind than forecast.

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry but overcast and there was no change at 20:00 when I retired to bed. This morning first thing it was still the same but has just started raining. The glass rose yesterday and this morning is steady on 1005mb. The forecast is for heavy rain all day. The southerly winds will be light to moderate and give us a high of 10C and a low of 9C tonight with a -3C wind chill for most of the day. The six day outlook is for the mild wet weather to continue. It's beginning to look a lot like Spring!

🎉 Our Heatwave is over.
Yesterday, our last day, I had no air-con 😓.
We woke up to rain showers today 😀. We had gone 46 days without rain.
We might have a shower or two over the coming weekend.
It’s currently 23C and feels quite cool (haha) because it is quite windy 😊 👍
