( the names are often confused)

Wood Teddy
Various entries about him. He was a partner at Proctor and Proctor of Burnley and was associated with many of the mills they acted as secretary for. He was particularly intersted in the engineering side so many mentions of him connection with Brown and Pickles and the Calf Hall Shed Company.

Wood. J
BUDC Council member 1935-1942.

Wood. Hewson William
Elector of Salterforth, 1835, 1837, 1841. Address given as Cragg at Colne.
This was actually Cragg at Foulridge and he crops up in UDBk 5/1 (i) a box of legal papers as owner of White House Farm and the White House Spring when use of the spring was being considered as a water source for mains supply at Barlick. This property qualified him as an elector of Salterforth.

Wood William
Elector of Barnoldswick 1841. Address given as Huncoats Lancashire
Also same name as farmer at Letcliffe in Barrett Directory for 1902

Woods, Rev.
See LTP 78/AB/05. Page 7. He was the vicar at Gill Church and Billy Brooks says that once he caused a disturbance by blocking Gill Lane to traffic. He was reported to be carrying a pistol.
