F.a.o Peter Thompson ( tommo) , how are you doing Peter ? would it be possible to chat to you at all? I’ve just been looking at Thomas Pickering on Cravens Part in The Great War on google & it explains that a short biography of Thomas was written in Barnoldswick - A Small Towns Part In conflicts 1800 -2014 . I’ve also sent you some photos on Facebook if you would like to have a look. Thomas Pickering & my great grandma Elizabeth Ann Pickering both lived at the same address ( 38 Essex Street , Barnoldswick. Elizabeth married my great grandad John William Chappell on the 2nd Oct 1920, Elizabeth was born in 1894 and passed away in January 1970. I’ve also found that Thomas Pickering was the brother in law of private Fred Windle .
