Remember watching "The Tommy Steel Story" at the Majestic Theater in Barlick (1957). Theater was full of us kids for the early matinee. Thought the movies was great. Tommy Steel, I'm guessing, must be in his 80's already. England's version of Elvis Presley.

That's a blast from the past. Tommy Steel owed a lot to Guy Mitchell's 'Singing the Blues' Link. Somehow he wasn't in the same league as Mitchell but went down reasonably well with the 'Um' younger end. Worked hard at what he did though.
