Watched The Deadline last night, it’s on for next three nights and definitely worth a watch.

Stan and Ollie on BBC2 at 9pm tonight, Wednesday. It covers their tour of the UK in 1953 along with their relationship. I watched it some time ago and found it interesting as well as entertaining. It'll be on the iplayer.

We have started watching the Ipcress File. Nice that it starts with Harry's back story. Enjoyed the first two episodes.

I binged on The Maxwell Story. The Palace won't thank the BBC for raking that one up. Makes Andrew look even more dodgy!

The iplayer is currently unavailable on the Humax Freesat box, it works OK on the Firestick. Anyone else got the issue?

Update, it's not just me https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/issu ... umax-error

Yes, wouldn't work for us last night.

Yes, for the last few nights but works if I access through the Smart TV. Quite a frequent occurrence, it must be a very delicate platform.

Another three Time Team episodes on YouTube this weekend, starting tonight at 6pm.

Iplayer still non functional on the Humax. Don't have the benefit of a smart TV, just HD etc.

Binged all our recorded Ipcress File episodes last night we may finish off the last episode on the ITV hub tonight.

Watched the end of Deadline, well I’m saying nothing, but it’s a different ending.

Harry came up to expectations and I noticed the last episode was number 6 of series 1. That would lead me to believe that there may be more to come. Len Deighton wrote a bunch about Harry Palmers exploits so why not?

BBC and Humax are supposedly working on the iplayer streaming issue, last BBC updates were April 6th and Humax April 8th

I've never had an error message, just the uploading logo but no progress. No problem as it's fine on the smart TV.
(Is that signal from a different source Kev?)

It'll be a software compatibility thing, the BBC will have 'tweaked' something. As Humax no longer make Freesat boxes they are probably a bit slow updating the platform for the existing kit.

Does that mean it's time for a new Freesat box Kev?
I watched Australian GP and was chuffed to bits when Mercedes improved and Verstappen had a DNF! :biggrin2:
(I'll bet Wendy smiled as well.....)

How did you guess Stanley? Unfortunately I went out to feed the hens and missed the moment it happened!

I have enjoyed watching 3 new episodes of Time Team this weekend.

I watched the final episodes of Killing Eve last night. Like you Gloria, totally baffled! But at least I have it out of my system! Now for Time Team.....
