Have a go Julie, the web sources are a lot better now than when I was doing my research years ago. If any of my findings seem relevant to you let me know and I can post or PM the raw data that I copied from the web sites. I have some information on the other Fish families in Mellor in the 1800s. When I did an overall search for marriages of Fish on the Lancs BMD site the later entries had a number of marriages between Fish and Slater.
