1857
John Lancaster noted as farmer at Newfield Edge Brogden in an 1857 directory.
1896
Barrett directory notes John Lancaster as postmaster when PO was at Wellhouse Farm in Church Street. In 1890 the same John Lancaster was noted in minutes of the Calf Hall Shed Company minutes of 23rd of April as auditor for the company. He was postmaster from 1883-April 1894.
1926
Francis Lancaster noted as member of BUDC 1926-1932. Died May 21st 1938. Barrett directory for 1896 noted him as surveyor for the Local Board.
1945
Bill Lancaster senior was engineer at Victoria Mill, Earby. See LTP transcripts 79/AD/10 and 79/ AG/13.
Undated record
Thomas Lancaster noted in an old electoral roll as being of ‘Whidicarr’, almost certainly Wedacre, west of Bracewell.
