Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?

I will shortly be engage in forward prepping for tomorrows tea. It would have been Dan's 45th birthday tomorrow and we always have a family get together to remember and raise a glass. I am making a large lamb kleftico for tomorrows tea based on the best variant I had on our recent jaunt to Rhodes. I...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

Found an email that I forgot about with going on holiday. I should have booked a service for the car which was due on the 20th of this month. I'll do that today, needs looking at as I have noticed an intermittent slight whine when in Drive. As reported elsewhere lift my starter from the fridge to w...

Re: FORGOTTEN CORNERS

Not at all, we went to one I think it was in Wales when the grandchildren were a bit younger. The structures and rope bridges were slung at least 50 ft up in the canopy. They had a zip wire also. Quite a big site and it took about an hour to get round it all. Visited one in France also when our kids...

Looks like they have changed the ASCII code for half of the feature which makes no sense really. Does the minus on the keypad work for the feature?

Re: Seen in the News

A repeat of the Warsaw Ghetto and potentially what followed that. It was judged to be inhumane and a war crime when it was happening to anyone of Jewish heritage, why is it any better now?

That suggestion cost Naz Shah MP her job a while ago. Move to USA. Well they cant sack me as I'm not employed, however if the suggestion is judged to be anti-Semitic, which in itself is stupid they could chuck me out of the party. I think it's perfectly valid suggestion which would solve a ...

Re: Seen in the News

Because it is bank rolled massively by the USA with weapons. I have often mused about Israel that they would not have to be belligerent to everyone around them if they hadn't stolen the land they occupy in the first place. Also if the USA likes them so much why not offer them land there, they have p...

Re: Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread

Looking pretty active Kev. My sour dough was being lazy in the fridge overnight so I left it on the island this morning and by lunchtime it had risen sufficiently to turn it out of the Banneton and bake it off. It's turned out OK. I had an excess of starter yesterday and I have enough Naans and flat...

Re: OBITUARIES

Doesn't help that a lot of the dodgy regimes don't allow proper journalists or reporters in. Suppression of free speech is one of the main markers for oppression of the people. Without the citizen reporters and their mobiles we wouldn't have a clue of what goes on in some areas.

I would have to pass on the Affagato. I have been promising to wean myself back on to coffee at some point. It always smells nice but taboo for the last 40 odd years. I will have to find a day when I don't have any commitments. :extrawink:

This mornings bake. One of the best that I have turned out. 30297 Fed my starter yesterday and mixed the dough when it was roaring.
