Re: Seen in the News

There is just about time to do it properly and introduce electoral systems the whys and wherefores to the curriculum which should help. Personally I think they should have moved to PR before this, having said that it could be that the younger voters may push for change as they should realise that th...

Re: POLITICS CORNER

Trump should not get to come again, he has been once which is the established protocol. I heard him on the radio news describing PM Starmer as a "cute cookie" as he is one of the only leaders to have agreed a trade deal with the US. I think he called our King a "nice man". He sou...

Noticing muscles I didn't know I had! First hour in the gym sorted, got homework one of which I already knew from my neuro physio sessions, alternate one leg standing and hold, 5 reps each side, no advanced yet which is doing it with your eyes closed. Second is the plank, hold for 10 seconds, (if yo...

You can hardly see on this pic but two small bees were having sex on the large leaf. Or at least I assume that's why one was riding on the back of the other!) Worker bees which are the majority that you see foraging are all infertile females. I have seen the same behaviour in our back yard and on c...

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?

I will shortly be engage in forward prepping for tomorrows tea. It would have been Dan's 45th birthday tomorrow and we always have a family get together to remember and raise a glass. I am making a large lamb kleftico for tomorrows tea based on the best variant I had on our recent jaunt to Rhodes. I...

Not at all, we went to one I think it was in Wales when the grandchildren were a bit younger. The structures and rope bridges were slung at least 50 ft up in the canopy. They had a zip wire also. Quite a big site and it took about an hour to get round it all. Visited one in France also when our kids...

A repeat of the Warsaw Ghetto and potentially what followed that. It was judged to be inhumane and a war crime when it was happening to anyone of Jewish heritage, why is it any better now?

Because it is bank rolled massively by the USA with weapons. Also if the USA likes them so much why not offer them land there, they have p...

My sour dough was being lazy in the fridge overnight so I left it on the island this morning and by lunchtime it had risen sufficiently to turn it out of the Banneton and bake it off. It's turned out OK. I had an excess of starter yesterday and I have enough Naans and flat...
