Re: Where Have You Just Been?

Probably on my penultimate trip to Skipton on the bus to pay into Barclay's Bank for Bosom Friends. I got the 10.18 M6 bus, "which turned up nearly 10 minutes late) from Barlick to Skipton. Up to Barclay's to pay in. The bank only has a single paying in point for cash which was already occupied...

Re: POLITICS CORNER

Problem is, all the major parties are frightened of losing the first past the post system we have now. It's generally a YoYo job between Tory and Labour with more of a leaning to the Tories as of course Socialism is an extremely nasty ideology to be avoided at all costs. Present Labour are about as ...

Re: OBITUARIES

The keen eyed will see that I made a mistake with the date of Lens death. It was actualy January 2004 when he passed away. My sincere apologies for the error. It was another former local Labour Councillor Frank Clifford that died recently, RIP Frank.

It was but the key is not to switch them on, you stand a fair chance then of recovery. The dye in meths is also sticky which I wouldn't think would do a camera any good either! Proprietary cleaners such as switch cleaners used to be carbon tetrachloride based and had a light lubricant added. They us...

Have Talk Talk not chased you to send it back, they usually send a prepaid return label etc. It's always best practice to upgrade to the latest specification whether you are going to use the VOIP port or not. The later router will be optimised for fibre. Also if you ever have a problem they will ask...

Indeed, I have never liked the word benign, it hides the seriousness of removal if it comes to that. Also, benign or not if it's in the wrong place or gets too big it can still have a huge impact. The fact that it is stable is the key. :good:

Re: Mobile Phones

I once rescued two Amstrad 8512 word processor computers, (the ones that you swapped a typewriter for). Also made Alan Sugar's fortune with an obsolete OS, redundant 3" Hitachi Floppy Drive (actually technically better the 3.25" Sony that won the race for the mass market). Sold with a CP/M...

Looks like we have Little Bo Peep following behind. Looks like some kind of procession before a gala or Church event. I think the class poster belongs to the horse.

Re: WHAT ATTRACTED YOUR ATTENTION TODAY?

The missile's booster rockets failed and it landed in the sea close to the launch site, according to the Sun, which first reported the malfunction. Interesting that the government is still confident in it's nuclear deterrent and states that it would work in a "real world" situation. :ohno...

To get us back on topic here is a story of Sally's recent woe's with her mobile phone. Wendy will be aware of this as she was also on the very wet walk with Sally at the tail end of last week. Sally's phone was in a fold over case and when retrieved from her pocket at home was wet through. The case ...

There are market stalls as well and various choices of food available. Town centre and Frank Street is closed to traffic during the event. She is showcasin...
