Re: Coronavirus (Covid19) Corner

My son has just let me know that someone has reported in with possible symptoms so they are closing the factory for 7 days and he is to self isolate for that length of time. I have suggested that he spends the time cleaning!!

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19) Corner

The company my son works for hasn't closed yet, they produce satellite receivers for Sky, so not exactly essential. He has no alternative but to keep going work and is getting quite worried.

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

We have just got back from a 6 mile walk round the Barden reservoirs, it was glorious up there and plenty room to keep a good distance from other walkers. Lots of people out and about in the area, walking, running and cycling.

Gosh Wendy, that won’t even see you through to the evening news, when all the bad things like death tolls and infection rates will be broadcast. He will need to do better tomorrow... ( I would have sent my husband in twice. I’ve seen it happen for toilet paper) He wasn't sure whether he was limited...

The only things he couldn't buy were 4 bottles of the Mcguigan Merlot we find pleasantly drinkable .... he was res...

I am not used to it! But this gardening is energetic stuff and playing havoc with my nails. I'm breaking myself in gently. It has been bitterly cold here today despite the lovely sunshine with an easterly wind blowing quite strongly. I retreated to the poly tunnel this afternoon where I've been yan...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19) Corner

We have a well stocked freezer and store cupboard but that's the way we have always lived, ready for any emergency. I used the last of my floor cleaner the other day :surprised: but I'm not panicking about that. We are so, so lucky to live as we do, free of older relatives to worry about and a year'...
