Cragg. Stephen. Farmer of Boothmans, Salterforth. Mentioned as elector of Barlick in rolls of 1835, 1837, 1841, 1848, 1859.

Cragg. Richard, elector of Salterforth 1835, address given as Higher Park, Salterforth. Ditto 1837 address given as Tonbridge, Colne. Ditto 1841 and 1848 address given as Foulridge.

1848
Cragg. George Henry. Elector of Salterforth 1848. Address given as Kirby Lonsdale.

c. 1940?
Sam Taylor, landlord of the White Lion arranged for Jacky Waterworth to fight Sammy Cragg, the best boxer in Earby in an exhibition match. The fight was rigged so that Jacky thought he had won. There used to be a picture hung in the White Lion of Jacky in an enormous pair of shorts. (See LTP, 78/AH/06. page 15.)
