Donna Summer, 70's disco diva and at one time highest earning entertainer in the USA has died of cancer aged 63. Her duet with Barbra Streisand "No More Tears" was a favourite of mine. Nolic

Yes, very saddened to hear of Robin Gibbs death. I loved the songs of the Bee Gees in the late 1960s and also in the 70s when they had a number of disco hits such as 'Night Fever'. RIP Robin Gibb. You will be greatly missed by lots of music fans.

This is not strictly true .....It was invented several times , many years earlier .The problem was that it was always instantly lost down the back of some sofa or other ....... Polley just managed to hang on to his long enough to obtain the bragging rights !
He is ,additionally , to be credited with coining the phrase "Who's nicked the doofer" ?
