Stanley is in the right country (and around 1200 miles out with his first guess).

KFC - For foreign tourists who can't do without junk food and really shouldn't go to another country where the locals speak a different language...

St Petersburg?

That's the one China, it just looked so out of place I had to grab a pic. St Petersburg has a purpose built cruise terminal (it was relatively new when I went in 2017) which is a lot better than using the commercial docks. Not sure how many tourists would actually use KFC, the shore excursions were limited to various palaces and galleries and there were 72 hour visas for cruise passengers. The passenger visas were only valid if you were part of a pre booked excursion, you couldn't wander off and explore on your own. We did look into individual visas but they were £300 each. The pre booked excursions didn't include KFC :biggrin2:

We went in August 2018, had an interesting tour off the ship with a tour guide and a ships representative, who spent the time pointing out pick pockets, it was one of the best tours we’ve done, the place was alive with them. They are not who you expect them to be.

If you want fast food on holiday you should go the MacDonalds in Prague. It's in the former Communism education building that all schoolchildren had to visit at least once during their education when it was under Soviet control. The tour guide that took us on the "political tour" of Prague experienced it first hand and thought its present use highly amusing. :extrawink:
