Long gone is the tradition Christmas dinner. Our will be Prawn starter marinated spare ribs plus the odd vegetable and CHIPS (air fried of course).
Can't quite get over that our friends up Norf booked a Christmas dinner at the local golf club at £70 a head only to be told that due to staff shortages they could cancel or have it delivered at home. A £70 per head takeaway sounds over the top to me but what do I know
Eat all you like curry buffet for us, £30 a head (they apologised to have to put it up by £5 this year) at the Barlick Raj.
Last year was takeaway, it was £15 a head and there was more than enough for us.
I had the last of the steak casserole with sprouts for breakfast. I cooked veggies for the week and at teatime cooked Liver and onions. That and veggies for tea/Xmas dinner! All cooked veggies in fridge and washing up of pans done....

A small pork pie and veggies with gravy from the liver for breakfast. During the day I slow cooked a sirloin steak with tomatoes and onions. For tea I had the last of the liver and onions with veggies and topped up with gravy from the steak. Lovely....

Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi with a Saag Paneer for tea today, it's being delivered from the Musafir in Earby.
I like to mix up my curry houses, Barlick Raj to eat in (usually the buffet), Musafir for takeaway delivery and the Four Elephants in Foulridge if they have entertainment on.
The last of the steak casserole with veggies for breakfast. I casseroled spicy Chicken wings with onions and tomatoes and had them with veggies for tea.

Egg, bacon and tomato for breakfast. Fish chips and peas for dinner. I ate the fish but kept the chips for tea and extended them with some peas and chicken wings.

I like your style Mick.... I do the same, make one bout of cooking do for multiple meals, a far cheaper way of cooking.
The steak and onions casserole came on song and I had it X two with Veggies for breakfast and tea.

That looks like a birthday. If so, I hope the day went well and many happy returns David.
I had the last of the steak and onions and veggies for breakfast. Cooked veggies during the day and had straight veggies for tea.
