Dash it - I thought that but since I'm always wrong didn't go for it. Aunty Josie had a hardware shop for a while, and I've watched her using one similar. :smile:

No! :laugh5: I did a search on the image, and the only vaguely similar object was for key cutting but your final clue gave me the confidence to answer!
