Ah well we have a rule, decorating in the autumn and early Spring visit ie November and late February. Gardening whenever but veggies planted in May. The garden is basically perennials and flowering shrubs now. The months in the summer are just to enjoy, though we have to garden in June because of the high growth rate, but I see that as enjoyment and not a chore. This is the last big renovation job. We have done very room now in the manner that we planned 18 years ago . The kitchen needs decorating but its not a major project.Big Kev wrote: ↑04 Nov 2022, 10:15 My brother spent many years going to Ireland for two weeks a year just carry out maintenance on his bungalow. He sold it a couple of years ago and maintenance was all he was doing with it.
We're off to Nidd Hall at Killinghall, just outside Harrogate, for the weekend. There's a David Bowie tribute act one evening and a Freddie Mercury tribute on another. We may go to Teesside on Sunday afternoon to watch youngest offspring play basketball.
That's where my brother went wrong m, he only ever went there for two weeks in the summer.Sue wrote: ↑04 Nov 2022, 10:33Ah well we have a rule, decorating in the autumn and early Spring visit ie November and late February. Enjoy the tribute bands, I am not a Bowie fan but I do love Queen
