Yesterday the cloud won and we finished the day overcast but no rain. At 20:00 it was calm and we gad scattered cloud partially obscuring the moon. During the night it was clear but once more this morning we have an overcast sky but it is dry. The glass is down on 1031mb and falling. The forecast is for sunny spells until late morning and then cloud for the rest of the day. The SW wind will be light and gives us a high of 6C and a low of 2C tonight with a -3C wind chill for much of the day. The 6 day outlook is for very similar weather to today.
05:00. The sky is now clear and we have a brilliant full moon.

Yesterday remained dry and at 20:00 it was calm, dry and we had very high overcast. It was the same first thing this morning with evidence of a recent very light shower. No change except for the fact the sky is now clear. The glass is down on 1024mb but rising. The forecast is for clear skies and until midday when cloud comes in for the rest of the day, no rain forecast. The constant WSW wind is moderate giving a high of 6C and a low of 3C tonight with a wind chill of -4C for much of the day. Enough to take us below freezing until after 09:00. The 6 day outlook is for warmer, dry but cloudy weather.

Yesterday was a very acceptable day and at 20:00 we had a light breeze and broken overcast but dry. It is the same this morning and the glass is up on almost 1030mb and steady. The forecast is for a dry but clouded day. The constant WSW wind is brisk and gusts to 35mph giving a high of 8C and a low of 7C tonight with a wind chill of -5C for much of the day so wrap up warm when you go out! The 6 day forecast is for similar temperatures but dry and perhaps brighter.

Yesterday got quite damp at times, no heavy rain but just damp! At 20:00 it was calm, cool and dry under an overcast sky. This morning it's the same and the glass is steady on 1030mb. The westerly winds are constant and moderate giving us a high of 8C and a low of 5C tonight with a -3C wind chill at times. The 6 day forecast is for similar calm dry weather. We can't grumble, it is after all still February.

Yesterday was cloudy but not cold or wet. At 20:00 it was calm, cool, overcast and dry. Same this morning first thing and it hasn't changed. The glass is up and steady on 1033mb. The forecast is for the cloud to break early and we will have a day of sunny intervals. The southerly winds are light and give a high of 8C and a low of 2C tonight with perhaps a -2C wind chill during the day. The 6 Day outlook is getting better, dry, bright and some days we will have double figures! February is being very kind to us.

Morning Cathy! If it gets too warm send us a bit of your heat. Actually we are doing quite well. We will be in double figures next week which is good for February. This and better will do.

Yesterday was dull but dry. At 20:00 we had light breeze and an overcast sky but it stayed dry. This morning it's calm, cool and overcast but still dry. The glass has dropped a bit to 1031mb. The forecast is for a cloudy morning and a sunny afternoon. The mainly SE wind is light giving a high of 7C and a low of 1C tonight with a -2C wind chill all day. The outlook is for brighter warmer weather. Double figures and all day sun tomorrow if you're planning anything.

Yesterday we got a touch of late sun but it was colder than I expected, definitely not a touch of spring here. At 20:00 it was calm, cool and clear. Same this morning and feels almost like a frost is possible. The glass has dropped again to 1027mb. The forecast is for a sunny day. The light wind is variable but mainly southerly and gives us a high of 11C and a low of 4C tonight with a -2C wind chill at times. The 6 day outlook is for similar weather but more cloud and the occasional shower.

Yesterday was a very pleasant day with lots of sun. At 20:00 it was calm, cool and some very thin overcast. Same this morning first thing but clearing now I think. The glass is down on 1018mb and falling. The forecast is for a sunny day but marred by showers in the middle of the day perhaps. The mainly SW wind is brisk and gusts to 30mph at times giving a high of 8C and a low of 5C tonight with as much as -4C wind chill at times. The outlook is for similar temperatures, mainly dry but perhaps with more wind. Still very kind weather for February. Remember 'February fill-dyke, black or white'.

Yesterday afternoon ended with light rain showers and a breeze. At 20:00 it was still light wind and rain. First thing this morning it was the same and the glass was down on 1012mb and falling. The forecast is for the rain to stop around 08:00 and for mist and cloud after that with perhaps some light rain later this evening. The SW wind is moderate and gives a high of 8C and a low of 7C tonight with a fairly constant wind chill of -3C all day. The outlook is for similar weather, slightly warmer and less rain.

Yesterday stayed damp all day here. Late afternoon we had a niggling breeze and light rain. Same at 20:00. This morning first thing we have the wind but no rain and an overcast sky. The glass is down on 1008mb. The forecast is for light rain early this morning then brighter and dry with sunny intervals later. The story today is the wind, a constant WSW that gusts to near 50mph and gives us a high of 10C and a low of 6C tonight with a -4C wind chill. The outlook is for similar unsettled windy weather and rain.
Later at 04:30. The wind has got up now and is serious.....
06:00. We are getting the southern fringes of Storm Otto and significant rain. I am glad I don't have to go out and work in this. So often in the past I had to and I have never forgotten.

I was expecting visitors from Devon this weekend but they didn't fancy the drive up in this weather so we have cancelled till next weekend. That was looking fine and sunny but now there is wind and snow creeping in to the forecast.
