The good news is the rain has dampened down the grass pollen, the 'count' has been reduced to high. A relief for some.

It's gone very dark here, the current (5pm) radar picture shows a bit of wet weather heading this way. It battered my roses last night, the next downpour will probably finish them off but, as Tripps says, they'll grow again.

Yesterday finished up wet but no downpours, just heavy rain eventually at 20:00. This morning it's dry and we have a calm morning with broken cloud. The glass is down again on 1003mb. The forecast is for rain and then sunny intervals and showers. The constant SW (!) wind is light to moderate and gives us a high of 20C and a low tonight of 12C with a -2C wind chill at worst. This is Atlantic weather and the outlook is for similar milder and wetter weather.

I was surprised to see the wind turbine had turned to the south west this morning, it seems like the first time in weeks!

It is Wendy and a sign we have had a real change in the weather. Back into an Atlantic pattern now hopefully, more temperate and supportable. It's what we are used to!

The Met Office are forecasting some lively weather for the next few hours, I don't think I'll be painting the concrete by the back door today.

Yesterday was, as promised, sunshine and showers. At 20:00 we had su. First thing this morning we had hardly any wind but light rain. Now it is calm and almost clear, just some high thin scattered clouds. The glass is steady on 1006mb. The forecast is for sunny spells at first but then heavy rain showers from 08:00 onwards clearing up by mid afternoon. The very light wind is easterly at the moment and will stay like that until late this afternoon when it will swing into the West and rise to moderate. The high will be 19C and the low 12C tonight with negligible wind chill. The 6 day outlook is for it to warm slightly and be mainly dry.

Yesterday was good for growing things, we needed rain and we got it. At 20:00 it had cleared up and we had late sun. First thing this morning it was calm, dry and overcast and it hasn't changed since then. The glass is again steady on 1006mb. The forecast is for an overcast morning and the chance of a shower around 10:00 and then a sunny afternoon. The wind is a constant moderate westerly all day giving a high of 20C and a low tonight of 10C with a -2C wind chill all day. The six day outlook is for similar weather, no surprises!

Just back from my walk.... Got meds, had a sit in the Square and now I'm going to have a bit of lunch...
Very pleasant out there, good sun but a cooling breeze as well.
Later..... 12:30
I have just run the clippers over my head. Guaranteed cooler weather for at least ten days...... :biggrin2:

Yesterday ended well. At 20:00 it was clear and sunny. First thing this morning it was calm, cool and clear, it hasn't changed since. The Glass is up on 1016mb. The forecast is for a sunny day. The westerly winds will be light and we shall have a high of 22C and a low of 12C tonight with a -2C wind chill at times. Looks like a dull day tomorrow but then back to similar weather to today for the rest of the week.

Adelaide. We have 100% rain today and thru till 5am.
10C. The most I have done outside today is bring my bins back in after collection. 😂
At least our reservoirs are filling up, and the Maggie’s aren’t bothered by the constant rain. 😊

I've had me feet done, been into Town Square for veggies and a salad buttie which I ate while on traffic duty in the sun. Back home now and looking at doing nothing for a while.
It's a very warm day despite the sun going behind the clouds ever now and again.

Yesterday was better than the forecast and at 20:00 we still had full sun. This morning first thing it was calm cool and clear but since then it has clouded over. The glass has risen slightly to 1018mb and the forecast is for an overcast day with light rain coming in about 16:00. The constant SW wind is light until the rain comes in when it rises to moderate. It gives us a high of 18C and a low of 16C tonight with at most a -2C wind chill. The outlook is for much more sun and it could be very hot on Sunday.

Yesterday was again better than the forecast and the light rain came in in the evening. At 20:00 it was dry but damp from recent light rain. First thing this morning we had light rain but that has stopped now and the sky is clearing. The glass is down slightly on 1017mb. The forecast is for cloud but perhaps sun this afternoon. The westerly winds are moderate and give us a high of 22C and a low of 16C tonight with up to -2C wind chill. A hot, humid day expected tomorrow and then a shift to lower temperatures.

Still windy for us. Sunrise 7.24. Sunset 5.12

The deluge of rain that we had on Thursday, gave us 80ml’s in 24hrs. Lots of flooding, damage , blackouts and a few rescues.

We could have heavy rain later Cathy but not as violent as that. I've been for a walk and a sit in the sun before it starts round about dinnertime. They promise us thunder and it's certainly close enough for it.

Yesterday afternoon threatened thunder at times but it never happened here in Barlick. We had some very loose showers around 20:00 but then it settled down into a quiet pleasant evening, overcast but not as oppressive as it has been of late. First thing this morning it was cool and dry, we had a light breeze and broken overcast. It has not changed since then. The glass fell back yesterday but this morning has risen back to 1011mb. The forecast is for a day of broken cloud, sunny intervals and light showers. The west wind is light to moderate and gives us a high of 17C and a low of 13C tonight with a wind chill of as much as -4C. The 6 day outlook is for similar temperatures, overcast and not a lot of rain.

Yesterday was more sunshine than showers but we still got our share of rain. At 20:00 low sun was coming in under broken overcast. First thing this morning it was cool and we still had broken overcast, it hasn't changed since. The glass is up on 1016mb. The forecast is for an overcast morning and heavy rain from midday onwards. The SW wind is light to moderate and gives a high of 17C and a low of 16C tonight with perhaps a -2C wind chill during the day. The six day outlook is for similar weather, no heat waves!

Yesterday afternoon stuck to the script, cloudy and showers. At 20:00 it was heavily overcast. First thing this morning we had light rain and it is still the same. The glass is down on 1012mb and tending to fall. The forecast is for light rain all day. The westerly wind is light and gives us a high of 19C and a low tonight of 11C with negligible wind chill. The six day outlook is for slightly cooler weather.

I had my first really good sleep for a while last night Gloria.
Yesterday was a day of heavy overcast and occasional mizzle, at times, very wetting. By 20:00 it had dried up a bit but was still overcast. This morning first thing it was calm, cool and clear. Since then it has clouded over and the glass is up slightly on 1014mb. The forecast is for a dry day of sunny intervals. The steady westerly winds are light to moderate giving a high of 17C and a low of 12C tonight with perhaps -3C wind chill at times this afternoon. The six day forecast is for similar weather but with showers.....
