Yesterday was gloomy but no significant rain or thunder until 20:00 when we had one light thunder shower. This morning it was calm and overcast. The glass is up on 1013mb The forecast is for sunny intervals and dry until 15:00 this afternoon when we can expect thunder and rain. The southerly winds are constant and light giving a high of 20C, a low of 11C tonight and only a slight wind chill. The six day outlook is for similar weather but a bit cooler.

Watched that coming in on the lightning map Gloria. It got to us around tea time but only one flash of lightning and a single peal of thunder along with the torrential rain of course. All past now and we are back to a cloudless sky and wall to wal sunshine at the moment.

Yesterday was a rerun of the day before and at 20:00 we had full sun. This morning it's calm, clear and we have a good moon. The glass is up slightly again on 1015mb. The forecast is for bright overcast with sunny spells until early afternoon when we can expect significant rain. The southerly winds are light to moderate and we have a high of 19C and a low of 13C tonight with perhaps -2C chill. The six day forecast is for similar weather.

Yesterday stayed mostly dry.... At 20:00 it was overcast but with occasional breaks in the cloud in the west allowing shafts of sunlight through. First thing this morning we had significant rain, the only change sine then is that it is only light rain now. The glass is down on 1003mb. The forecast is for bright overcast, sunny intervals and heavy showers almost any time until late evening. The SW wind is moderate giving us a high of 17C and a low of 13C tonight with as much as -3C chill. The six day outlook is for very similar broken weather. No surprises!

Yesterday was dryer than forecast. At 20:00 we were overcast but occasional shafts of sun coming in low out of the West. This morning first thing it was calm and dry despite forecast heavy rain. I have just checked and it has started raining lightly. The glass is steady on 1003mb. The forecast is for heavy rain showers all day with sunny spells. The westerly winds are brisk gusting to 30mph and giving us a high of 16C and a low of 12C tonight with a wind chill of up to -3C. The outlook is unchanged, similar weather all week.
05:20. It has stopped raining, very heavy overcast. (It didn't rain much at all....)

Yesterday was a day of heavy loose showers and at 20:00, though dry it was heavily overcast and dark early. This morning we have heavy overcast and a light breeze but it is dry. The glass is up on 1008mb. The forecast is for sunny intervals to develop and perhaps an odd shower this afternoon. The westerly winds are light to moderate and give a high of 17C and a low of 13C tonight with a -3 wind chill possible. Slightly below what would normally be the average. The outlook is for similar weather for the next six days with perhaps more rain tomorrow and Saturday.
News later that the high pressure system named Cerberus by the EU meteorologists which is giving record high temperatures will not extend as far as us. No heat wave in prospect!

Yesterday was on the whole a dry and sunny day despite the rain in the forecast. At 20:00 it was overcast but we had some late sun later. First thing this morning it was calm, dry and we had stars peeping through the broken cloud. Since then it has clouded over completely. The glass is up slightly on 1009mb but tending to fall. The forecast is for cloud and rain to come in from late morning on. The ESE wind is light to moderate and gives us a high of 16C and a low of 13C tonight with a -2C wind chill. The six day outlook is unchanged, similar unsettled weather as far as we can see.

Yesterday was a generally wet day. I kept deciding to walk but on looking out the window it was raining so I never went. At 20:00 we had light rain and a breeze. This morning we have less wind but light rain. The glass is steady on 991mb. The forecast is for significant rain all day. The constant WSW wind will be brisk and gust to over 35mph again. The high will be 16C, the low tonight 12C and we shall have a wind chill of -4 at times. This is not summer weather! The outlook is unchanged, similar broken weather.

It rained most of yesterday, with some very heavy showers. Today there’s a light wind, the sky is laden with rain, but it’s only missing as yet.

I've got the washing hung on the rack to dry and the curtains are back up and hanging, they will soon dry. I have to say they look a bit better! The sun has come out to play and it's stopped raining for the first time today.

Yesterday it rained until midday and then we had a relatively fine afternoon. At 20:00 the sky was overcast again and all we had was a few shafts of sunlight coming in under the cloud. First thing this morning it was calm, dry and overcast with evidence of a shower during the night. It hasn't changed. The glass has bounced up to 1007mb and the forecast is for a rainy start and sunny spells from Midday onwards. (But we have no rain yet.) The WSW wind is light to moderate and gives us a high of 16C and a low of 10C tonight with as much as -3C wind chill when the wind is strongest. The outlook is for a cold wet day tomorrow and then broken weather with less rain for the rest of the week.
Later, at 06:30. It's started raining.....
