Did that yesterday, it's not really sightseeing weather unfortunately. Heavy rain to accompany the high winds all day. Got to buy a tee shirt for tomorrow, we packed lightly :biggrin2:

Ah, so that's the reason you have been in shirt sleeves all week!
Yesterday was another unexciting day with as shortage of sunny intervals. At 20:00 it was breezy and still overcast. First thing this morning it was windy, clear and dry. It's still the same. The glass fell but then rose slightly and has settled on 1007mb. The forecast is for it to be mainly sunny with a chance of a light shower early this afternoon. The constant SW wind is moderate and still with us, gusting to almost 35mph at times. It gives us a high of 17C and a low of 11C tonight with up to -2C wind chill at times. The outlook is for similar mixed weather, 17C tomorrow but then 15C for the rest of the week.

Yesterday we had more sun and overall it was brighter and more pleasant day, I never saw the forecasted showers in the afternoon. At 20:00 it was dark but clear and with a slight breeze. First thing this morning it was still clear and we had the breeze. It's still clear but slightly less wind. The glass is up slightly on 1012mb and the forecast is very similar to yesterday, lots of sunny spells but with a chance of a light shower in the afternoon. The mainly SW wind is moderate and gives us a high of 17C and a low of 10C tonight with perhaps a -3C wind chill at times. The outlook is for more wind for a couple of days tomorrow and Thursday but apart from that, very similar weather to what we have been having.....
Later.... The high winds of tomorrow and Thursday have been given a name.... Storm Agnes.

Yesterday afternoon lived up to the forecast with light showers after midday. At 20:00 the sky was clear but we still had a breeze. First thing this morning it was clear and dry with a brisk wind. it hasn't changed. The glass has stirred upwards slightly but is still on 1012mb. The forecast is for an overcast day with rain all afternoon and in the evening. The SE wind is constant, brisk and gusting to over 45mph as we reach the end of the day (hence the yellow warning.) It gives us a high of 16C, a low of 12C tonight and a -3C wind chill later today. The outlook as for a similar day tomorrow and then a week of mixed weather but nothing to frighten the horses!

Yesterday afternoon was, as promised, wet and windy. At 20:00 the rain had stopped but it looked like a wild night. First thing this morning it was overcast and windy but not actually raining. It has started raining since. The glass had fallen back but is rising and is on 999mb. The forecast is for a dry day but overcast with rain coming in later tonight. The yellow wind warning has been lifted in the last hour. The SW wind is moderate and at the moment is gusting to almost 40mph but will soon start to drop. The high will be 15C and the l,ow 11C with a -3C wind chill at the moment falling to -2C later. The six day outlook is for cooler weather, mainly dry but overcast.

Yesterday afternoon was mainly dry but not exciting. By 20:00 it was dark, overcast and dry with only a slight breeze. First thing this morning it was overcast and raining, since then the rain has stopped but it is still cold and damp. The glass has risen to 1005mb and the forecast is for it to clear soon and then we will have a day like yesterday, sunny intervals and showers. The SW wind is moderate gusting to over 35mph at times and gives us a high of 14C and a low of 10C tonight with a -3C wind chill this afternoon. The outlook is for similar weather, no surprises as yet.

Yesterday afternoon was dry except for a couple of light showers, more correctly, spatters of rain. At 20:00 the wind had dropped and it was dry. First thing this morning it was calm and dry with scattered high cloud but a visible waxing moon. Since then it has clouded over but is still dry. The glass is up on 1019mb. The forecast is for an overcast day but dry until a band of significant rain comes in at 16:00. The southerly wind is light and gives us a high of 13C and a low of 12C tonight with a wind chill of -2C this afternoon. The outlook is for a warmer day tomorrow but than back to very similar weather to today, overcast, cool and showery.

The rain came in early yesterday and by 14:00 we had significant rain which hadn't quite stopped at 20:00. This morning first thing we had a light breeze, it was clear and dry but since then it has clouded over and started raining. The glass has fallen to just under 1013mb and the forecast is for rain until midday, brightening up a bit in the afternoon but still with the chance of a shower. The SW wind is moderate and gives us a high of 17C and a low of 12C tonight with an occasional wind chill of -2C this afternoon. The six day forecast is for similar weather but cooler.

Yesterday ended as it had gone on all day, overcast and an occasional spatter of rain. At 20:00 it was calm dry and overcast. First thing this morning it was calm dry and clear, a good moon but since then it has clouded over. The glass is up slightly on 1014mb and the forecast is for an overcast day with rain coming in around noon. The mainly SW wind is light and gives us a high of 14C and a low of 10C tonight with perhaps a -2C chill this afternoon. The outlook is for similar weather and temperatures until Friday when it could warm up a touch. Showers possible almost any time. Quiet weather, the longer this lasts the better....

Yesterday afternoon was again a story of bright intervals and spatters of rain. At 20:00 it was raining in earnest. First thing this morning we had an almost clear sky, just a few wisps of thin cloud and dry with a good moon. Since then it has developed a thin haze. If it carries on like yesterday it will shortly become overcast and wet but at the moment it is still dry. The glass has fallen to 1008mb. The forecast is for significant rain interspersed with bright intervals all day. The SW wind will be brisk gusting to 35mph and giving us a high of 13C with a low of 10C tonight. At times when the wind is strongest the wind chill will be -4C. The outlook is for two more chilly days and then coming in warmer and wetter from Friday onwards.

Yesterday afternoon was another spell of bright intervals and spatters of rain, not really showers, just token spatters. By 20;00 we had light rain and this morning, it was calm clear and dry but the flags were wet, evidence of a recent shower of rain. It hasn't changed since. The glass is up on a shade over 1017mb and the forecast is for a day of bright intervals interspersed with light showers and ending being a uniform overcast. The SW wind will be brisk gusting to over 35mph at times and giving us a high of 14C and a low of 10C tonight with as much as a -4C chill when the wind is strongest after dinner. The outlook is for another cool day tomorrow then warm but broken weather starting on Friday......

Yesterday was a re-run of the days before. The day was spoiled by frequent spatters of rain, not heavy enough to qualify as showers. At 20:00 it was dry but overcast. This morning first thing we had wind and light rain and it hasn't changed since. The glass is down a touch on 1016mb and the forecast is for heavy rain all day. The brisk SW wind gusts to almost 35mph and gives us a high of 14C, a low of 13C tonight and perhaps a -3C wind chill this afternoon. The outlook is for a wet day tomorrow and them warmer drier weather for a few days from Friday on.

Yesterday was wet and windy all day and we still had light rain at 20:00. First thing this morning we had a breeze but it was clear and not raining but with evidence of rain during the night. I've just looked outside and it is unchanged although the forecast says it is raining..... :biggrin2: The glass is up on 1015mb. The forecast is for an overcast but dry day. (I see a BBC report that Scotland is warned that they could have 7" of rain today.....) The winds will be mainly SW and moderate, not gusting like they did yesterday. The high will be 17C and the low tonight will be 12C with a slight wind chill of -1C this afternoon. The outlook is for similar warm dry weather until Wednesday when we can expect showers and a bit cooler.

Yesterday stayed dry but was at times very dark and gloomy. At 20:00 the sky was clear and it was dry. Still dry first thing this morning and it hasn't changed since. The glass is up on 1029mb and the forecast is for another dry but overcast day. The southerly winds are light and give a high of 18C and a low tonight of 13C with negligible wind chill for most of the day. The outlook is for dry weather, two more unseasonably warm days and then it gets cooler, nearer the seasonal norm.

Back from a walk into Town Square to look at the small market and back again to the Co-op via the bench at the end of Albert Road where I had a pleasant sit. Very warm weather for the season. Then I got enough food at the Co-op to keep the wolf from the door for the first half of the week......

Yesterday was again unseasonably warm and stayed dry. At 20:00 it was calm, dry and overcast. This morning it is still the same and very mild. The glass is down a touch on 1017mb. The forecast is for a dry, mild overcast day. The SW wind will be moderate giving us a high of 17C, a low of 12C and an almost negligible wind chill of -1C. Yesterday stayed warm and dry and at 20:00 it was calm clear and dry. It was the same first thing this morning and hasn't changed since. The glass is down a touch on 1014mb. The forecast is for a dry day with a cloudy start but brighter later. The SW wind starts light but gets brisk later with gusts up to 40mph this afternoon. This gives us a high of 19C, a low of 11C tonight and a wind chill of -3C this afternoon. The outlook, starting tomorrow is for much cooler weather with the occasional rain shower.
