I know very little about him, but had a interest in the name of the group he was in. I just found out very recently that the correct spelling of the original Gaelic from which the group's name derives is 'Pog mo Thoin'. I learned the phrase a very long time ago. from Aunty Josie's mother (a second generation Irish immigrant) who used it regularly.![]()

I agree - and the tributes paid seem to endorse that he was one of the good guys. Not much competition among politicians for the title though.
