This one has died the death. They are shuttle pins. Small dowels made out of a very hard African wood, I think Persimmon and used as the hinge for the shuttle peg on which the pirn and the yarn package were mounted. The idea was that they could be easily changed for a new one very frequently and this meant that the hinge of the shuttle peg was always tight and accurate. Essential for good weaving.
Next object anyone?

Not sure just what they’re called, but is it a plug tower? When pressed they extend upwards and have half a dozen or so plug sockets on them.

Well done Gloria! It's an old fashioned pewter cased inkwell for dip-in pens. In this case quills.
