But you know as I do Gloria that there has to be an end to it.... Remember that we are coming into the time of the year when we can usually expect the Equinoctial gales.....
Yesterday was a bit more overcast but still a bright and pleasant afternoon. At 20:00 it was dry but definitely nightfall. We are past that time of the year when we can get late sun at this time. This morning first thing it was calm, overcast but dry. I is still the same. The glass has fallen to a shade under 1025mb and the forecast is for a dry day mostly overcast but occasional sunny spells. The constant ENE wind will be moderate and gusts to over 30mph giving us a high of 18C and a low of 12C tonight with a possible -3C wind chill at times. The outlook is for two more similar days and then we descend into cooler weather with more overcast and less sun. Our brief respite appears to be coming to an end.

It is pretty grim out, the Met Office shows the best of the sunny intervals will be on the west coast so I've booked a hotel in Lytham St Annes for a couple of nights, it'll probably rain now :biggrin2:

Yesterday never really got to full sun, just improved slightly in the afternoon. It reverted to overcast late in the afternoon and was dark earlier. This morning it's calm cool and overcast but dry. The heating has come on. The glass is down on 1021mb and the forecast is for a dry day which could improve to sunny intervals. The constant ENE wind will be moderate gusting to almost 35mph and giving us a high of 19C and a low of 12C tonight with a wind chill of -3C. We shall have one more day like this tomorrow and then we move into overcast and sometimes rainy weather which will be much cooler.
