Yesterday afternoon stayed dry and once more we had a mainly clear night. First thing this morning it was calm clear and cool and we had a good moon, it hasn't changed since. The glass has risen to 1026mb and the forecast is for a dry day with good sunny intervals. The mainly light southerly winds give us a high of 14C and a low of 8C tonight with a -2C wind chill at times. The outlook is for similar weather, perhaps tending to get cooler but generally bright except for Sunday which is still forecast to be wet. Quiet weather and good for late October.....

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry but we never saw the promised sunny spells and that wind was cold! We had a clear night and this morning it's breezy cool and we have a clear sky with a brilliant half moon. The glass is down on 1019mb and the forecast once more is for a dry day with sunny spells. We shall see if it is any more successful than yesterday! The southerly winds will be moderate and we can expect a high of 15C and a low tonight of 9C with up to -3C wind chill. The forecast for the outlook has changed. Saturday and Sunday are now better days with sunny spells, the rest of the outlook period is forecast to be heavily overcast.

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry but settled into overcast later in the day. This morning first thing it was calm, overcast and dry and it's not changed since. The glass is down on 1010mb and the forecast is for a misty start and an overcast day. The constant East wind will be light to moderate and we can expect a high of 14C and a low of 6C with a wind chill of -2C all day. The outlook is for two brighter days and then cooler and overcast for the rest of the week.

I've just got back from today's shopping. It stayed dry but heavily overcast. There's light rain blowing on the wind now which doesn't surprise me!

Yesterday stayed dry but overcast . This morning it was clear and cool and there was evidence of a light shower during the night. The glass is up a touch on just over 1012mb and the forecast is for a dry day with plenty of sun. The constant SW wind is light and we can expect a high of 14C and a low tonight of 2C. There will only be a light wind chill, -2C at the most. The outlook is for another sunny day tomorrow and then a mainly overcast and cooler week.
Remember to put your clocks back an hour after 2AM tomorrow morning. :good:

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry and by 20:00 it was clearing. This morning first thing it was clear and cold and we still have a calm, cool clear morning. The glass is up on 1015mb and the forecast is for a cool dry and sunny day. We may get some light rain this evening. The SW wind is mainly light and gives us a high of 11C and a l,ow of 8C tonight with a wind chill of up to -3C during the day. The outlook for next week is mainly overcast and perhaps some light showers. Looks a bit like November!

Yesterday's forecast was correct, by early evening it was raining. This morning first thing it was breezy and raining. It hasn't changed since. The glass is down on 1012mb and the forecast is for a windy and rainy day. The constant WSW wind is moderate and reduces during the day giving us a high of 15C and a low of 11C tonight with a wind chill that starts this morning on -3C but is down to -2C this evening. we can expect rain all day. The outlook is for similar mixed weather but we can expect a couple of brighter days first.....

Yesterday it rained all day with only brief spells where it bated. This morning we have broken cloud as overcast and light rain. The glass is up 0n 1017mb and the forecast is for the overcast to lift briefly and give us a short period of sunny spells mid-morning but then to revert to heavy overcast for the rest of the day. We will have moderate westerly winds all day and can expect a high of 14C and a low tonight of 9C with a wind chill today of -2C. The outlook is a week of heavy overcast but no actual rain forecast. What more do we expect from November?

Yesterday was a much brighter day than forecast. The sky was clear right up to dusk. It was mostly clear during the night. This morning we had broken overcast and evidence of a light shower during the night but it was dry and has stayed the same. The glass is up on 1025mb and the forecast once more is for a brief sunny spell in the early morning and then overcast but dry for the rest of the day. (We shall see if it is any more accurate!) The westerly winds will be light and we can expect a high of 14C and a low tonight o0f 9C with negligible wind chill. The outlook is for a week of mainly overcast skies, perhaps starting to get colder at the end of the week.

A few days of high pressure with warm day winds coming up from the south for the next few days. The overcastness though and damp in the air seems to bring the moss to the roof tiles in south london as the mansion flats shoot up changing the micro-climates.

Yesterday the forecast was accurate and we had an overcast afternoon with a light shower at dusk. First thing this morning we have light rain The glass has stayed up at a shade under 1025mb and the forecast is for a dry but heavily overcast day. The westerly winds will be moderate and give us a high of 13C and a low tonight of 10C. The wind chill will reach -3C this afternoon. The outlook for the week is for similar weather and only one brief glimpse of sun all week, cooler perhaps.

Yesterday the 'overcast' we were promised turned out to be light rain until mid-afternoon. It managed to stay dry during the night and this morning we have a breeze and 100% overcast but it is dry. The glass is back on 1020mb and the forecast is once more for a dry day but heavily overcast. The moderate westerly winds ease slightly to light this afternoon. We can expect a high of 13C and a low of 9C tonight with a wind chill that starts this morning on -3C but eases during the day. The six day outlook is for similar weather to today, heavy overcast but dry and similar temperatures. It's November!
Later at 04:30.... Just like yesterday we have light rain.....

Yesterday the light rain stopped and we had a dry overcast day. This morning first thing it was calm and overcast, it hasn't changed. The glass is up on 1027mb and the forecast is once more for heavy overcast all day. The constant SE winds will be light all day and we can expect a high of 13C and a low of 9C tonight with negligible wind chill. November is treating us quite well and from the look of the forecast we can expect very similar weather for the next week.
I took out an insurance against a bad winter yesterday. I bought two 1.5kg bags of cooking salt at the Co-op for salting the ice in the back yard. Sod's Law says that this will ensure we won't have any severe frost!

It's stayed dry..... I have had a short walk and shopped at the Co-op for three items. Funny how there is always something.... This morning it was eggs, plum tomatoes and oat cakes. Now I shall listen to the result of the Tory Leadership election.

Yesterday was another day of settled weather. The afternoon stayed dry and we have woken to another calm, dry overcast morning. The glass is steady on 1027mb and the forecast is for a dry but overcast day. The constant SE winds will again be light and we can expect a high of 12C and a low of 9C tonight with a wind chill of -2C at most. The outlook is for this weather to continue for at least a week.

Yesterday’s mid 30C’s with a north wind was uncomfortable.
Much nicer today. No rain since mid Oct, and none coming to speak of.

Yesterday was another settled, dry overcast day under a ridge of high pressure. This morning is exactly the same as yesterday, calm, overcast and dry. The only difference is that it is a touch cooler. The glass is down a bit on 1025mb and the forecast is for a dry overcast day. The constant light easterly winds give us a high of 10C and a low of 7C tonight with a possible -2C wind chill any time during the day. The six day outlook is for this settled weather to continue.

Yesterday was another rerun and we had dry overcast right up to dark. This morning we have mist, which is of course very light mizzle. The forecast is for this to persist until late morning when it could open up to sunny spells lasting until dusk and then back to low cloud again. The glass is down again on 1020mb. The light southerly winds will give us a high of 12C and a low of 9C tonight with a negligible wind chill. The outlook is for three more days of overcast and then we may see more sunny spells over the weekend.....
