Yesterday afternoon stayed bright but that wind was bitter! We had clear skies overnight and so start the day with a frost and a light breeze. The glass has fallen to 1020mb and the forecast is for a dry sunny day. The wind will be light all day, by late morning it is tending to the South and then in the afternoon it becomes SW. We can expect a high of 13C and a low tonight of 0C. We have a -3C wind chill at the moment but that will ease into -2C for most of the day. The outlook is for two more days of warm sunny weather and then we drop back into overcast and gradually getting cooler by next week. It's still kind weather!

I've been to the Co-op for some more greens for tomorrow's cook in. It's lovely out there, full sun and warm with it as there is hardly any wind.
This and better will do. :biggrin2:

Yesterday stayed clear until late afternoon when we got some overcast. It was light until almost 19:00. We had clear skies overnight and this morning it's calm clear and cool. The glass is steady on 1019mb and the forecast is clear and sunny all day. The constant easterly winds will be light and tend towards the south after midday. We can expect a high of 16C and a low tonight of 4C with a slight wind chill of -2C for most of the day. We shall have a similar day to today tomorrow but then overcast but still warm, over the weekend and into next week. March is going out like a lamb....

We’ve had some rain today 😊. Only about 10ml and there may be a bit more coming. It’s been lovely ☺️.

Funny you should say that Cathy. I was saying to Susan who is in Sidney at the moment that she must be sad because her stay in Oz ends on the 26th when they fly back but she said not at all, she was looking forwards to cool weather and rain. It must be in our genes! :biggrin2:

London's bus stops can display some information beyond next 10 / next buses in half hour due. Today it has been "atmospheric pollution - walk cycle or take a bus (which is a bit sill as the display cannot be seen if you are driving a car)

Yesterday afternoon we developed a bit of overcast later but then it cleared during the night and this morning we have a light breeze and a clear sky but no frost. The glass is down on 1011mb and falling. The forecast is for a day of sunny spells with a very high pollen count. The constant easterly winds will be brisk gusting to over 35mph and this will result in a wind chill of -4C for much of the day. The high will be 16C and the low tonight will be 4C. The outlook has improved, we are now promised bright dry weather with sunny spells and only slightly cooler than today.

Yesterday afternoon we had more overcast than sunny spells and this was true as it went dark. No frost first thing this morning, it was raining. It has almost stopped now. The glass has fallen to 997mb and the forecast is for a dry day with sunny intervals until 16:00 when the rain returns. The easterly winds will be light and we can expect a high of 15C and a low of 8C tonight with a wind chill of -2C for most of the day. The outlook is for mixed weather, mainly dry and some sunshine with temperatures in double figures all next week.

I've been for a walk and got some milk from the Co-op. The sun has gone in but it's very acceptable as there is hardly any wind.

Normally it rains by squishing cloudy low pressure against the pennines , so the east should get the wetter, sometimes it still rains on the other side , the easterly wind direction might make the rain feel different if it lands in present day East Lancashire.

Yesterday it started raining in the late afternoon. It seems to have rained all night. This morning we have a light easterly wind and it is still raining. The glass is up a touch on 998mb and the forecast is for it to stop raining around 07:00 and we can expect a dry overcast day thereafter. The constant NE wind will be light to moderate and we can expect a high of 11C and a low of 2C with a wind chill that will reach -3C this afternoon with the rising wind. The outlook is for dry. brighter and warmer weather all next week.

Our temps have been much more enjoyable after our last heatwave.
This next week is gradually warming up more, but nothing I can’t handle 😉
Enjoy your week 😊

Sunning gone, we now have rain, or rather drizzle, it’s only light, and there is no breeze at all.
