The brains department seem to be making progress Gloria!
I shall leave the object up so you can have a crack at it.

The image on the previous page won't be visible due to the SSL certificate issue, the site can't authenticate gallery images using the image URL. As a workaround we can use the image BBCode.

In the image below you can see there is an Image BBCode, if we can use that for now to link to images from the gallery everyone should be able to see them.

The mystery object looks like the wherewithal to lay the arch shaped cobble patterns we see a lot of in Italy.

When you add an image, from the gallery, to your posts you would copy the Image-url and paste it into your post.

If you look underneath the Image-url you will see an image-BBCode, if you copy that into a post it will link to the image and display it in the post.

If you 'edit' your Shed Matters post from this morning you can see the difference between the Image-url and the image-BBCode

It's one of the pans at Jesse Shirley’s Bone and Flint Mill at Etruria, Stoke on Trent. Calcined bone and flint was ground in water by the paddles driving the large block of stone round driven by a steam engine. This product together with China Clay from Cornwall was the essential base for making fine bone china.

I've done that Ian. I usually use Opera on my tablet and can't see any images at all with that. Firefox is the same and with Chrome I can see the bbcode images but not the others. Everything is fine on my phone using Chrome. I've cleared cookies too. All that's left to try is restarting my tablet. I'll do that now.
