Yes Tom, dead right. These designs were a sort of trade mark for some cloths woven for export.

They fit into and over the corner drains of a Laundry Tub side drains. One side is for the washing machine water outlet pipe, and the other has a smaller drain hole and can be used to dry a plug or a sponge etc.

I couldn't understand why they were that shape. Sinks with drains in the top corners.....whatever next!! :laugh5:
