Yesterday afternoon ended with significant rain after 16:00. This morning we had a breeze, overcast and evidence of recent rain. The glass has fallen to 985mb. The forecast is for rain until this afternoon when it may brighten for a while. The SW wind will be brisk and gust to over 40mph. We can expect a high of 10C, a low tonight of 4C and a chill of -4C for most of the day. Similar weather for the rest of the week... It could be much worse for November!

London SW Early clear skies , fluffy white clouds not quite scudding accross the sky but moving at a fair pace darker fuller cloud building. I suspect a little chill overnight but westerly winds should bring a modicum of warmth.

SW London had a few spit spots of rain , but not a lot, evenings getting colder but not to 5th Nov Baked Spuds and Bonfires yet
Sun seen too so its not gone completely and wind has not ripped all the leaves off the trees which are now mainly the yellow shade of autumn tints but enough that the larger leaves are blocking rainwater drains

Yesterday afternoon saw a resumption of the rain after a short dry spell. This morning it's wet and windy and the glass is steady on 1000mb. The forecast for the day gives us heavy overcast all day with rain until late morning. The southerly winds will be brisk all day gusting to 36mph and we can expect a high of 14C and a low tonight of 12C with a chill of -3C for most of the day. The outlook is similar except that it might be lighter overcast.

Yesterday followed the pattern we seem to be stuck in. Overcast, rain in morning and at the end of the afternoon. I think it rained all night.... This morning first thing we had a mild breeze and light rain. Since then the rain has stopped. The glass is steady on 1000mb. The forecast is for overcast and rain until noon and then brighter but drier overcast for the rest of the day. The constant southerly winds will be mild and moderate giving us a high of 16C and a low tonight of 12C. There will be a wind chill of -2C all day. The outlook is for similar weather but perhaps tending to be more dry and less mild.

Yesterday stayed dry and mild. During the night we had broken cloud which allowed us some clear views of the full Super Moon. This morning the overcast is still broken and we have a good view of the craters on the Beaver Moon. The glass is steady on 1000mb. The constant light SE wind gives us a high of 15C and a low of 11C during the night and a negligible wind chill. The outlook for the next week is for similar temperatures with generally drier and brighter overcast,

Even I thought it was mild Gloria and you know how sensitive I am to cold these days!
Yesterday stayed dry, bright and mild and it was dry overnight. First thing this morning it is dry and mild under broken overcast and with a light southerly wind. The glass is steady on 1000mb and the forecast is for a dry, bright overcast day. The constant ESE winds will be light and we can expect a high of 14C and a low tonight of 9C with only a slight wind chill. The six day outlook is for similar settled weather.

I've looked back to last year and here's what Gloria said then.... "Back from our walk and it’s a lot colder today, there’s a bit of something in the air and it feels like it could snow, I know it’s not forecast, but it feels like it.".

Yesterday was a re-run of the days we have been having all week. Very settled weather that has been noteworthy because of its mildness. The afternoon was very acceptable, almost pleasant. Overnight we seem to have had a shower but first thing we had a light breeze, 100% overcast, dry and not cold. It hasn't changed since. The light southerly winds are mainly SW and tend to weaken but become cooler later. We could see some sunny intervals. We can expect a high of 12C and a low tonight of 6C with a -2C wind chill for most of the day. The outlook remains mixed, very much like what we have been having. No surprises.
