Still warmer than us Cathy..... :biggrin2:
We had a lot of drizzly overcast yesterday.... This morning it's calm clear and cool. The glass is steady on 1011mb. The forecast is for overcast all day and rain from about 09:00. The moderate southerly wind will be constant and we can expect a high of 12C and a low of 9C tonight with a wind chill of -3C by this afternoon. The outlook is for similar weather.

SW London a little morning chill - which these days lasts till about 9am and will remain longer as more night and less day arrive.
There must have been more wind the last couple of days as the tree leaves are more on the ground than brownly hanging onto branches
Looks sunny at the present time and it will be one of the Warmer and Drier Remembrance Services that November can throw at us

Yesterday afternoon managed to stay dry. This morning it's cool and overcast but dry. The glass rose during the night to 1005mb but has since dropped back to 1001mb. The forecast is for a dry bright overcast day with the possibility of sunny spells and perhaps a late shower this evening. The constant southerly winds will be moderate and give us a high of 12C and a low tonight of 6C with an occasional -3C wind chill.... Expect a wet day tomorrow and thn similar weather to today for the rest of the week.

Not where I and all the other Barlickers were at the remembrance service. It was steady rain in the town square for all that attended. It did bait a bit for the wreath laying at the memorial and the second part of the service.

Mum complained that the Memorial Service on the Telly from London was too dark. I glanced at highlights on Telly , rather a lot of navy wearing Navy Service persons didnt help, and though not weather too gloomy I think the tall trees still with leaf in London where it is warmer blocked some light as the height of buildings in Whitehall has not increased over the years recent.

Damp and at best a watery sun around this morning in SW London with umberellas up for the pedestrians. Not that cold

Looking at weather charts recent weeks have had a lot of banded isobars across the UK with weather giving a stripey rain/dry as it moves over the island, looks set for much of same

Yesterday I missed the afternoon rain.... I wasn't out in it. This morning we have a cold overcast morning but it's dry. The glass has fallen slightly to 999mb and the forecast is for heavy rain to come in this morning with the dawn and persist all day. The southerly winds will be light to moderate gusting to 35mph. We can expect a high of 14C and a low of 9C tonight with a -3C wind chill this afternoon. The outlook is for similar overcast weather for the next six days getting colder all week.

We’ve had very heavy rain during the night, and it’s still coming down quite a bit. Just popped my head out and it’s a tad nippy.

Yesterday was November weather and today looks like the same thing. The only good thing to be said about it is that at 12C it was relatively mild. This morning it's calm, broken overcast , dry and once again, mild. The glass has fallen to 994mb and the forecast is to start with sunny spells but immediately start to deteriorate and by noon we will be overcast and heading into a rainy afternoon. The light winds start in the south and end up in the east. We can expect a high of 12C and a low tonight of 9C with only a light wind chill. Tomorrow looks like a re-run of today but then we enter five days of wetter colder weather. Deep Joy!

Yesterday afternoon the rain was a bit late coming in but lasted longer than originally forecast. We still had significant rain in the early hours of this morning. First thing this morning it was breezy and overcast but mild and dry. It is still the same. The glass is steady on 994mb and the forecast is for a dry bright day with broken overcast all day. The constant moderate wind is SW until this evening when it swings into the NE. This is the last mild day and we can expect a high of 13C and a low of 6C tonight with a wind chill of -3C for much of the day. The outlook is for similar broken weather but colder, Tomorrow will be very wet.

Two inches of rain for London predicted for Friday. Which will flood lots of underpasses on local and main roads and flush the unswept leaves into other storm drains for more blocks. I though the forecast implied the band of rain from Midlands to about Gatwich would miss north of Manchester

Yesterday was the last of our mild weather days.... The afternoon finished with a heavy overcast and later cleared to give some sight of the stars. First thing this morning it was raining and the wind was gusty. The glass has risen to 1006mb and the forecast is for a much cooler and more rainy day with a stiff breeze. The constant ENE wind will be brisk and gusts to well over 50mph this afternoon. The high will be 7C and the low will be 4C tonight with a -6C wind chill at times. The outlook is for drier brighter weather but still cold.
