Looking good Cathy! We are doing well actually, while we complain and gloomy wether and wind and rain, It could be a lot worse with ice, frost and snow. As it is we are having a mild winter. :good:

Back home after that short walk to the Co-op. My pork belly now has orange sat with it and I got two packs of sprouts on sell-by which are on the hob and will extend the veggies in the nicest possible way. It's dry and not too cold.. Let it do what it wants now!

It's a bit wild out there this evening. Wind gusting to 50mph which wasn't in the forecast.

Yesterday afternoon got rough, The rain came in as forecast and the wind was stronger than forecast. I was in bed by 06:00 listening to wind roaring in and rain spattering on the north facing bedroom window. That weather eased off during the night and By midnight the wind had moderated and we had a clear sky with a good moon. It's still clear and cold and the glass is on 996mb and rising. The constant SSW wind will be moderate and will gust to almost 35mph at times. We can expect a high of 19C and a low of 8C tonight with a wind chill of -4C for much of the day. Tomorrow is going to be a wet wild day but then the rest of the week is dry, bright and not cold. Things could be much worse at this time of the year.....

Yesterday afternoon managed to stay dry but the wind actually increased until about 16:00. We have had a dry night with broken cloud so spells of bright moonlight. The glass rose slightly yesterday but has fallen back now to 996mb. It has started raining and that's what we can expect until mid afternoon, significant rain. The southerly winds are brisk and will stay like that all day gusting to 50mph by this afternoon. We can expect a high of 14C and a low of 8C tonight. The wind chill will reach -5C later but will be at -4C for most of the day. Mild for December! The rest of the week will be brighter, drier and cooler.

We have a breeze and light rain, nothing like what was forecast, it’s also quite mild, which I think was forecast.

Heavy rain here in the early hours but it has eased off now. It isn't getting light, if anything it's getter darker and I can see a wall of cloud and rain out to the west!

Same here Wendy and I see we are being introduced to Storm Bram. I think that's what you can see out to the west.... The forecast showed the worst of the wind around noon.

I don’t think we are under the wall of cloud. It is raining more now, but nothing bad at all.

I spoke too soon as well Gloria, I said I had no reason to go out. I was wrong, I have been to Town Square in high wind and driving rain.. Charming! :laugh5:
Never mind it's done now.... Only thing I noticed was the wind wasn't really cold.

Yesterday afternoon was strictly according to the forecast. Whilst the rain gradually eased the wind grew stronger and we went into darkness with a strong wind. First thing this morning it's dry with broken overcast and we still have a significant wind. The glass is up on 997mb and rising. The forecast is for a blustery overcast day with a heavy shower at almost any time and some sunny intervals. The SW wind will be brisk all day gusting to 40mph and we can expect a high of 19C and a low of 5C tonight with a wind chill of -4C all day. The outlook is for similar mixed weather, frequent showers and mild for December.

London surprisingly sunny and general uplift of south.westerly low wind so not too bad - not that I could go out with three visitors expected. Thurs should be weather much the same in morning maybe a couple of degrees lower with more cloud in the afternoon. Must check the incoming post too as families keep sending parcels for christmas stuff.

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry but breezy. Clear spells during the night and this morning we have a sky that is clear apart from a very thin mist, dry and breezy. The glass has risen and is on 1012mb. The forecast is for a dry, bright, overcast day with sunny spells. The constant southerly winds will be moderate and gust to 30mph giving us a high of 10C, a low of 6C tonight and a wind chill that is -4C for much of the morning and then -3C during the afternoon. Very acceptable weather for December.
