Is this what you are looking for Ian? There are a few more complex and powerful looking PSUs.

Yes similar, it's all in the overall wattage and the number and type of output connectors. The faulty one is a 650W job with a few more outputs than the one in your photo. Probably be easier if I popped up to have a look at some point.

Only got a 550 here...

There's a few bits in a case, 3TB SATA drives, an Icy Box (removable drive) CPU heat sink and fan...

You're welcome to it all if you don't find anything at Wendy's, it's just sat in the corner of my office taking up space

Thanks Kev, the wattage is not really the key other than the higher the better. Its the outputs. Ideally I need 4 x Molex, 4 x SATA plus the normal 20+4 mainboard connector and a 4 pin for the CPU.

The 4 x Molex are for an MSI Twin Frozr graphics card which uses them all. At a push I could skip the graphics card as it also has SVGA on the mainboard but I would lose HDMI for the bigger monitor that our Jack has given us. The monitor will do both.

I have 3 Drives and a DVD writer which is also SATA. I'll have a look at Wendy's and see what Col had in his treasure chest. With most drives being SATA now the problem has moved onto the 4 x bog standard MOLEX 12v connectors. I think they reappear on the higher wattage supplies.

Anyone make use of a printer? It's too big for my home office and I've bought a smaller one.
It needs a new blue cartridge, here's the AI overview of it...

The Epson WorkForce WF-3540 is a versatile, high-speed 4-in-1 inkjet printer (print, scan, copy, fax) designed for small offices, featuring duplex printing, dual 250-sheet paper trays (500 sheets total), and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity. It offers 15 ppm black/9.2 ppm color ISO print speeds, a 30-sheet ADF, and a 3.5-inch touchscreen.

It's free to collect in Foulridge if anyone wants it.

For those who aren't aware, the site has been under attack. Unfortunately the firewall was overloaded with the number of access attempts (DDOS - Dedicated Denial of Service).
Me and Ian have been working 'under the bonnet' to rebuild the firewall and things are slowly getting back to normal.
Apologies if things do slow down, or even stop, bit we'll get there.

Because they can and they probably get a kick from beating the security of sites. Just another form of amusement like building steam engines.

OK, sorry, probably not a good direct comparison. Some folk are just wired differently on how they get their kicks.
