Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER

Yesterday afternoon was bright overcast but dry and very acceptable. We had a quiet night under an almost perfectly clear night, a thin veil of cloud, not enough to obscure the moon. At the moment it's overcast with a very light west wind. The glass is steady on 1022mb and the forecast is very similar to yesterday but with the possibility of heavy showers in the late afternoon. The light wind will be westerly until they swing through the North into NE round about the time the rain starts this afternoon. We can expect a high of 18C and a low of 7C tonight. There will be a slight wind chill all day but never more than -2C. Tomorrow will be a cooler gloomy day but then we move back into brighter warmer weather for the rest of the week.
